Absentia (2011) 10/10 I really liked this movie. You don't really get to see the monster, only small glimpses of it and not even all that much. I love that they did this especially with how unsettling they made the atmosphere. There are jumpscares that honestly feel like their only purpose is to

Hell House LLC 1-3 in order: 7/10, 9/10, 9/10 HHLLC1: I liked this one, but I found it to start slow. HHLLC2: This one was a bit better. The creeps started earlier, which helped. HHLLC3: On par with the second. Overall, I enjoyed the series and will probably rewatch it at some point.

Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor 10/10 I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I'm not that huge of a fan of the mockumentary style movies, but this one, coupled with the found footage style, really did it for me. I was entertained. I was unsettled and creeped out.

At the top, the tag line reads "Every story has an origin" directly beneath it, it says "Exclusively on Shudder" followed by the premiere date 10/30/23.
In the background is the villains mask with black tears running down its face. In front of it is the Carmichael Manor. At the bottom is the title of the movie and the credits.

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) ⭐️7.5 I'm going to be honest I watched this bc I couldn't sleep, and I don't have many thoughts other than it wasn't that bad. I really liked the twist at the end. Will say I watched it on AMC+ and had to look up what the Dr said at the end bc there was no card

One of the main Character Caesar is kneeling over a sleeping woman on a bridge. Presumably Dr. Caligari is seen in the background looking for Caesar.

The Revenge was interesting. Nothing like the synopsis said it was going to be, but it's still a good movie, albeit a little confusing tbh. It may have been bc of the language barrier. I doubt the subtitles were true to the transition but entertaining to watch. 8.5/10
