i think some of my frustration is because aside from the shape language i cannot actually pinpoint what it is that draws me to my own art, or at least some of my older pieces. like i never thought id get to a point where i prefer some of my older work over my newer… （＾ω＾）

i unironically feel like i have lost the spark of my stylization sometimes—in trying to improve my skill level and i’m reminiscing in my art of the past even if i guess it’s a regression i miss my exaggerated and anatomically incorrect proportions if it meant having identity in my silhouette

I feel like Don Quixote lacks a decent sinking identity and I really want her to get one to use in the sinking team I’m building, like a sinking ID that’s proficient in clashes and as an applicator would be really nice maybe even a bit fun. I hope come hong lu’s canto we get a few sinking ids ^ - ^

I started path to nowhere a few days ago and I really really like zoya and earl so far (just finished chapter five) and I think Hecate and hella are also up there after reading their case files ^ - ^

She’s albino and has scarring on the lower half of her face/torso–im still writing her but her companion is a shiny mimikyu that also has a burnt tail and cloth. They’ll have similar motif and shapes

I grasped it better than I thought I would for my first attempt, especially in a more realistic style this is my first time using color with any semi realism and I’m proud of myself for my progress ^ - ^

Nightngale @moonlightdrift.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

I feel like with my donqi work (pinned) was when I started to grasp color and shape a bit better…I still have ways to go!!! But I’ve made progress that I’m happy with. The light painting (?) I’m starting to practice lighting and form a bit more

Nightngale @moonlightdrift.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

I’ve made more progress on light and I wanna show it off but I know it’s best to when I’m finished ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡

The new sawtownee song has a gakupo cameo, not much but I am pleased for any new gakupo content

000

Nightngale @moonlightdrift.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

Hey bsky I know you guys like vocaloid does anyone have recs for producers that use gakupo/gakupoid? I like the producing style of Utsu P and maretu, but gakupoid is my fav and I want to support artists who use him outside of covers ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡

Don Quixote as Grani! I think these two have a lot in common and they're both among my favourites :D Commission done by Potato Stirfry (www.instagram.com/potato.stirf...). Limbus Island hype! #LimbusCompany #Arknights

And that out of love she wanted Mei to pursue her happiness with Kiana. I think the way Elysium everlasting ended was beautiful, but I can’t help but wish that somehow elysia would just continue to watch the hero’s from tomorrow afar, as the realm would just be abandoned to time

Nightngale @moonlightdrift.bsky.social · 30/10/2024

I mainly thought of the AU after playing through the Elysian realm storyline. I like the concept that elysia had feelings for Mei even if one sided, and that she inevitably held them in as her time had already passed feeling that it would be a wasted effort
