Today's Museum Monday feature is the Namafel Aquatic Museum! Namafel Aquatic Museum aims to showcase all the Big Fish & Legendary Fish in the game by exhibiting them in Fish Print and Fish Tank, with exhibits based on each zone in Eorzea! #FFXIV #MuseumMonday

A welcoming and warm entrance to the Namafel Aquatic Museum built to look like the inside of a cottage’s front door. A friendly Namazu figure with adventuring gear greets you, and a pair of aquatic life prints bracket the doorway.

A screenshot of the Namafel Aquatic Museum’s ground floor which contains a verdant gondola aqueduct scene with the gondola resting in an indoor river running through the lobby. The back wall is covered in greenery and the artificial river is emerging from a created cavern in the wall.

A centrepiece of fish imprints spiralling around greenery and coral on the top floor of the Namafel Aquatic Museum, displaying a wide variety of local and exotic species of fish. The spiral of fish prints is lit from within and surrounded by aquariums filled with large and impressive specimens.

Lining the wall of the upstairs level of the Namafel Aquatic Museum are dozens of fish prints in frames of various sizes showcasing a variety of fish.

TW: CSAM and IRL pedophilia, child abuse / exploitation / trauma a clearer summary re: the news about individuals in the xiv community who distributed CSAM. i hope this and the list of the offenders helps folks who want to protect themselves without reading more potentially triggering material.

09/18/26: XIV modders and CSAM

briefest possible summary: a group of people who were in the XIV community were found to be discussing sharing illegal CSAM in a Matrix group (while the CSAM in question was distributed via another program called Session). this case involves actual verifiable CSAM, not the mistaken conflation of artwork or 3DCG modded material for abuse material. an informant reported the group and has now shared the accounts of the participants actively discussing CSAM.

the leader of the abuse group, Regena, advertised their Matrix group on a Mastodon instance post in early july of this year. Discord was not involved.

currently the claim that this occurred or began in the XIV Kitten modding Discord does not have any evidence, and appears to be misinformation from the most notable post of the day mentioned below.
this news first gained notice from a twt/X post this morning, 09/18/2026 by Geneva Abrichter (@DoctorAbrichter), which flat-out misinformed everyone about the actual abusers in question and which the account later apologized for (see https://x.com/DoctorAbrichter/status/2100989548255985771).
given their track record i would not trust them for additional information about this case.

the user Chuuni Doll created their disclosure/PSA video about the topic on 09/12/2026, several days prior (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlvUMsU_d-A). it summarizes the full details and evidence logs from the proton doc, and contains disturbing chat log snippets (albeit censored ones since it is on YouTube).
the actual primary source of the information was an informer going by Kurumi who had brief access to the chat group. their screencaps and logs were collected in the video and full proton doc posted by Chuuni Doll.

the doc also includes the proof to connect the Matrix group IDs of individuals like @xivbestiary to their main account, Noffletoff/Noff.

Table of "Super Secret Channel" Room Members and their user handles in Matrix (All members were invited to the room by Regena (@regena)):

- Regena (@regena): xiv: Ertran Dalmasca, aethy @Regena (deleted), baraag @Regena (deleted)
- Nav (@van)
- @mephidross: omitted (was kicked before CSAM discussions took place)
- kitt: xiv: Rayne Araya, aethy @Kitt (deleted)
- honeysuckle: xiv: Honey Sundae, aethy @honeysuckle (deleted)
- bestestestpuppy: omitted due to a lack of chat log evidence
- BHLala (@toastdamoast): aethy @BlueHairLala (deleted)
- astralsight: xiv: Night Astra, aethy @astralseeing (deleted)
- Nibbles (@xivbestiary): xiv: Doctor Noffletoff, xivbestiary.fanbox.cc, baraag @DocNoff
- Kurumi (informant): omitted (was present for CSAM discussions, left soon after, and eventually informed others about the group and shared messages with the matrix service admins)
- Iruru (@iruru): aethy @iruru
- @depopola: omitted (no evidence that they witnessed any CSAM discussions + plausible and verified explanation for being invited to the room)
- @duckyychan: omitted (no evidence that they witnessed any CSAM discussions)
- @milly-e: omitted (provided their own set of message keys that prove they did not witness any CSAM discussions)
- @rindeboy: omitted (no evidence that they witnessed any CSAM discussions)

All remaining members were kicked at around 2026-08-17 22:22:00, around the same time Regena posted a warning claiming that the informant was "going around accusing other people of being into CSAM".

Additional mention: ☢️ Kiraxiv (@kiraraxiv) / Kykykra Kyra -- not a member but sent CSAM to the informant.

Today's Museum Monday feature is Little Norvrandt! From your arrival beneath the transplanted lavender trees of Lakeland, follow along with the Warrior of Light's journey through the regions of the First on the quest to restore the night. #FFXIV #MuseumMonday

A yard of purple flowers features a campfire at center, with stumps for sitting and a tent to the right of the image. The background is dappled with stone ruins and purple-leaved trees.

Before the entrance to a stone building, Lyna, a Viera in full armor, stands with her arms crossed on a carpet of purple flowers.

An ethereal and imposing lobby with a crystal chandelier features benches to either side on a flagstone floor. Walls of blue crystal with filigree accents point toward a desk at center, behind which is a mannequin in hooded red armor.

From a rock ledge in an upper corner the viewer looks out over a room filled with exhibit material. A Dwarf in Kholusian clothing stands next to the viewer on the ledge. Beneath are paintings on the walls, mannequins in red and blue jester costumes, a floating mini airship, and other themed decor items.

the lessons we need to take are clear. Dolly said "find out who you are and do it on purpose", and Tim Curry's line is "don't dream it, be it" they would both be disappointed if we wrote that off as corny. so what? it's necessary. we have everything to lose if we are dishonest to ourselves.
