Before we head into the holidays, we’ve released one more Lost Ember: Rekindled + DLC patch with various fixes and improvements! Also if you’re jumping back into the game, make sure to turn on Christmas Mode for some extra festive vibes! ❤️

Santa brings fixes and improvements!

Ho ho ho!

Just in time for the holidays we bring you a new patch that fixes various reported issues and brings some new options in case you get stuck. And of course we need to remind you all that Lost Ember does include a christmas mode that turns the world slightly more festive :)

Here's the full list of changes:

- fixed a bug that could cause players to get stuck after viewing a memory

- fixed a camera issue when moving through a cave or tunnel under a water body

- added a "unstuck player" option to the ingame menu

- added an additional achievement check when loading a game to unlock achievements that previously failed to register

- improved performance, especially for low and medium video settings

- fixed an issue with external gamepads on SteamDeck

- fixed a crash that could sometimes happen when something triggered a save while still loading a level

- fixed a crash that could happen on some systems on startup with incompatible display settings

- fixed a bug that would cause the main menu to become unresponsive when returning to menu while saving was in progress

- replaced some French texts

- improved legibility of some texts on small screens

Thank you for reporting your issues and improvement ideas here on Steam or in our discord! That always helps to get a better overview for the state of the game, so please continue doing so!

I think the Magician's Quest series has some really cool and unique designs and my fav part was "Mystery Time" where a mythical monster comes to your town with it's own quest you have to solve!
