Thank you! It’s been a real blessing to be able to capture flight shots reliably. Upgrading my gear has definitely paid off

Yeah I used to use that lens, i used it for a couple years and i had the same experience. Sometimes with good light, and being close enough to the subject, f5.6 on the long end was ok, but f8 was better. The 500mm is amazing at f5.6. Probably the best lens on Fujifilm system right now.

I always meet fellow bird enthusiasts on my walks, and I thought it would be nice to give out small prints instead of pointing them to a website or something. Much more tangible 😊

I keep it on all the time, apart from when editing photos - all that stuff gets turned off 😅.

Yeah I’m with you there, how a camera looks and feels are important! If a camera inspires you to go out and shoot then it’s done half the job. I have an X100V and VI and that’s probably the most popular camera based on how it looks/feels.

It's a cool idea. I do wish it were a bit more ergonomic, a shiny slab of metal with sharp edges doesn't sound very nice to hold. Apple have really popularised that super clean slick aesthetic and traded away human friendly ergonomics to do so. Shame it's been influential. I could be wrong though!
