We truly live in a nightmare timeline when that’s arguably the best case scenario for Rare at the moment

DKC was my introduction to video games and I don't think my mom could have picked a better game to show me. I'll never have kids, but even today if I were to introduce my hypothetical offspring to video games I'd show them DKC. It's an encapsulation of everything I love about the medium.

The Switch port of Human bullet battle DX Married Woman Frenzy Hell Edition doesn't have the third playable character, PS2 version is better

The two monkeys being AiAi and Amigo. I love video game monkeys, it’s what I do

I was disappointed that I missed the time-limited festival goodies in Sonic Crossworlds. It did not last too long, I got my two monkeys in the game now and it’s worth celebrating.

Figurative not literal McD's btw. I'm sure they're not the most ethical of companies either but you get what I mean.

Anyone who takes up sponsors for that kind of stuff is on my blacklist. I don't agree with the "get that bag, money is money whoever the sponsor is" mentality. If one needs the money so badly, McD's is always hiring. Don't have to push gambling ads to your viewers.

There might be hope for a playable build of Twelve Tales if it could happen with Dream

Moominfini @moominfini.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I did not appreciate how much of a technical marvel Dream was until playing it for myself, which is incredible that it’s something we can do now. The animations, the shadows, the environments, the music… Everything from that demo is still breathtaking even in 2026.

Can't expect everyone to be a pessimistic prick like me but I never agreed with the "life is worth it for the good moments" people. The absence of suffering is more important than the hypothetic fleeting pleasures life can provide between the soul-crushing 9 to 5s and health issues.

I love how Candy looks and I did not think I would be saying that one day. She feels cool and confident and I think we’re past the days of her being a dubious attempt at being a sexy Kong. You can’t go sexier than Funky anyways, why even try. He’s as erotic as ever here.

I used to be very uninterested in games’ stories, I was all about the action. Nowadays I’m more willing to just sit back and let the characters yap. Take my time and smell the roses and talk to everyone.

Rediscovering games I loved as a kid under the lens of the DKU has been a treat and I’ve been willing to use my own imagination and fill in the blanks in games‘ stories. It doesn’t matter whether or not it’s canon, games are about having fun and they‘re fictional anyways.

I was/am the opposite in that I love breaking games and learning why they behave the way they do. Since discovering DK Vine I’ve learned to approach games with a different kind of curiosity. I love how you treat them as if they were real worlds and characters with ongoing lives (1/2)
