Taddoo from a while ago. A tandem session between @dwam.bsky.social and I. It's a collab flash design as well.

An illustrative-style tattoo of a snake climbing up a sickle

A hip to thigh tattoo of an illustrative-style snake climbing up a sickle. There are mushrooms growing out of the handle and spore puffs floating around.

What I've been making lately. Sculpture has felt a lot more playful for me these days.

But someone is happy that I'm back in Vancouver. Rather than being extra sweet, she's been extra bossy and thowing tantrums 😆

I was sent a healed photo of this pixiu that I tattooed last month-ish and I'm so happy about it. The forest fire smoke really created the perfect diffused light 🙃

A pixiu tattoo that fills the upper outside of a right arm. The pixiu is a Chinese mythological female creature that has a dragon head, lion body and bird wings. This design was based off of jade statues and so has a more angular look to it than my usual art, which I really enjoy. Grey clouds float in the background.

Tiger chimera. Love the unusual placement of this one - when you have short arms but want to go big. The heads sit high enough that they don't distort when the elbow bends.

A tattoo on an outer arm of a chimera with 2 Tiger heads and one human head. The tiger body stretches from wrist to the elbow, with the heads sitting just above the elbow crease. The chimera reaches out with one delicate human hand. Curling clouds sit in the background, adding more flow to the design.

Her daily sunbath. Afterwards, she smells like roasted corn.

Komo the dog roasting herself in direct sunlight on warm concrete. My shadow as I'm taking the photo almost touches her tail.

Had a fun afternoon of drawing at the Beatty museum with friends.

A page of a sketchbook with several taxidermy owls and a clam shell. The peerless look like they're napping and grumpy.

Planting and watering the garden. And Komo being a dog 😄

My dog is curled up on the grass while I line a planter with newspaper.

My dog decides to say hello while I'm busy planting things. I feel a nose poking my bum so I turn to her.

My partner waters a large planter box filled with baby plants with a tiny watering can. We will be getting a hose asap.

Komo the black and white short hair dog enjoys the sun and warm concrete by laying flat on her side.

I've never had a real garden before but here we are! Going all in! The closest I came to gardening was 3 small bean plants on my balcony in 2020 and they became infested with mites immediately and yielded 5 microscopic bean pods the entire summer.

A cart loaded with 6 bags of container soil and a bunch of baby plants from the nursery.

Nursery plants - cucumbers, tomatoes, arugula, marigolds and green onion.

Nursery plants in a box on a cart. We are in the condo building's elevator. My dog looks up at me with a confused look on her face.

Here's an earlier point in the painting that I thought was almost interesting. I'd like to try to keep my paintings looser, but it's hard to know how. I'm glad I took a photo here, maybe it'll help me see what to do in future paintings.

A small postcard sized oil painting of an orchid plant in an orange pot. The painting is very unfinished in this photo, with only the large leaves sketched in and a lot of earthy red background color showing through. It feels like a moment where this painting could have five in a few different directions. Perhaps the one not taken would have been a more interesting painting. Contemplative emoji.

I painted with oils today 🥳 It's been so so long. I didn't know what to paint so I grabbed my mom's orchid that happens to be flowering.

A small postcard sized oil painting of an orchid plant in an orange pot. The orchid's flowers are a nice pale green with yellow accents. The background is different variations of grey. The painting sits inside a messy white plastic container that hassplashes of old paint and some green tape on it.

Thunder Goddess tattoo! Brilliant idea of my client, to celebrate body positivity. . #illustrativetattoo #goddesstattoo #pnwtattoo #Vancouvertattoo #calgarytattoo

A thigh tattooed with the image of a goddess of thunder. She looks as though she's leaping and twisting through the air, ready to crush someone below. Her black hair billows around her, and a lightning crown sits atop her head. Clouds spin down from her body and lightning bolts crash in the background amongst black stars.

An update now that it's had a few days to chill out and the bandage was removed. I suggested dotwork to allow for more precision around the scar tissue and to hide scar texture. It should also heal more easily due to less trauma to the skin, which is great for a placement like a hand.

A tattoo on the top of a hand. The design is based on a plum knot pattern, but is more geometric using overlapping circles.

Posting unedited photos here (tw: big scar). The fresh tattoo is swollen but not as swollen as if I'd used a different technique. I included the stencil photo so you can see how it'll look once the swelling goes down.

A tattoo of a bear climbing up a thigh. There bear has 3 heads, one looks down, one looks to the distance, and the last is human and looks to the right. The bear has bird-like scales decorating it's back, ferns grow out to each side.

Outlined a griffin backpiece today. Really excited to finish this next month!

A person laying on their stomach. A fresh outlined of a griffin with two heads had just been tattooed on their back. It's wings are outspread, body twisting in a dynamic pose. Wisps of leftover stencil can also be seen.

View of my desk rn, complete with lunch. Had a no-show so I decided to check some art off of my to-do list! These will go up on Patreon when they're done. I post all my experiments and fun things over there. www.patreon.com/user?u=30476...

A desk covered in paint ephemera - small ink paintings, paints, paper towels, brushes and palette, various jars full of liquids one of which is drinkable. Perhaps the most captivating thing in the photo is a half eaten cheese hot dog buns. It looks very tasty!

A recent blastover that I did on a hip/ribs. I love doing these! The last photo shows the old tattoo, which was not done by me.

A harpy tattoo on left side ribs. The harpy's feathers are highly decorative to create enough texture to hide the tattoo underneath without looking too heavy. It covers an old tattoo of a blue wave with a sailboat.

A custom tattoo design based on an older painting of mine. It's an owl harpy with 2 faces, one human and one a horned owl. The harpy's feathers are highly decorative to create enough texture to hide the tattoo underneath without looking too heavy. It's long talons are splayed out and ready to grab some prey

Dreaming of turning this painting into a tattoo! I’d love to do this as is, or closer to my usual style with strong outlines and more simplified shading, totally up to you. Since this is more complex than my usual flash, please fill out a custom submission form if you’d like to scoop this up.

A sketchbook surrounded by green plants with a painting of a harpy in it. The harpy has a malevolent air about her as she looks over her shoulder at you, sizing you up for her next meal. Her talons and claws are razor sharp.

Said harpy painting overlayed on a photo of a back, to illustrate how it would look as a backpiece. People will think twice before sneaking up on you from behind when they see her vicious gaze.

Said harpy overlayed on a thigh. Overly friendly men will advert their attention when they see this menacing creature, especially when you're wearing a bathing suit.

Said harpy overlayed on an upper arm as a sort of half sleeve. The model curls her arm in a strong posture, flexing her bicep. The harpy's thirst for manflesh increases the bigger your bicep becomes.

Inspired by @caitlinffrench.bsky.social, I collected some ochre from the path on this hike and I'll used it in my paintings of this beautiful place.

A hand holds some red ochre stones. In the background is a rugged coastline with hexagonal basalt rocks, with the ocean on the left and mountainous green terrain on the right.

A rocky path with red ochre exposed beneath the topmost layers of dirt.

A path weaves between mountainous island terrain with the ocean in the distance.

New mask! Trying some new things. I have mixed feelings about those swirly eyebrows but I hope the glaze will help unify them.

My name is Mandy and I'm a 1/2-white-1/2-Chinese artist in Canada. I tattoo at Baohaus Collective, as well as exhibit my paintings in galleries across North America. Website: mandytsung.com

An ephemeral blue painting on canvas of a borzoi Cerberus with humanoid features mixed in. It has 2 canine heads and one human head, long hair and fur following together.

An ephemeral Blue painting on canvas of a beautiful person with a shaved head and dark skin embracing and being enveloped by a pale eel human hybrid creature. The creature has an eel head, human torso, and eel tails for legs that undulate around the person they are holding.

A colorful watercolour-like painting of a robed person with chin length hair. Superimposed on top is a tableau of a wolf chasing a deer in a circle. They are painting as though they form the pattern on the robe. A floating mask, different fungi and gingko patterns decorate the background. The person holds a bleeding chrysanthemum in elegantly posed hands.

A thigh tattoo of a tiger-human chimera. The creature with three heads leaps up and across the thigh, twisting in the air, claws out. It's body is decorated with shelf mushrooms, rib-like flower petals, scales and other organic textures. Wings sprout from its hips. One of its heads is human.

I've only started painting men in the last few years, but there's a certain freedom in the lack of expectations around idealized beauty that I really appreciate.

An oil painting of a man with chin length hair looking over his shoulder at you demurely. It's painted on an ornate vintage Silver platter.

An acrylic painting on canvas of a trans Rapunzel (Rampion) in many shades of blue. Rampion pushes his long braided hair behind one ear with both hands.

An ink painting of a man's face semi obscured by flowers. His face flows somewhat eerily and his eyes lack irises or pupils.

A witchy feral rabbit tattoo on a thigh. It has a human faced mask tied to it's back, with eyes peeking out from its fur.

An eel witch tattoo on a calf, With the tail and head of an eel, and a human torso. Bubble shaped chains of seaweed swirl around her

Sketchbook pages, to become tattooes! I started looking to mushrooms as alternatives to traditional flowers, and I fell in love with them. I guess they are actually a sort of flower, really. You also get a peek at some ceramic creatures I've made.

A sketchbook sits open on a wooden desk. Strange ceramic creatures stand on its pages, holding it open. There are drawings of mushrooms and a face being engulfed by various kinds of mushrooms in the sketchbook, made in simple black ink lines.
