he was banking on the support to be louder than the criticism but he bet wrong lol. It does feel like he knew it was wrong but was hoping people didnt care about AI as much anymore?? which even among general “normies” the tide against AI is growing despite tech funding

and some words! too long to type here but more ai thoughts

self indulgent hehe but a reminder to myself to enjoy the journey! the process! ride the waves & feel the wind because a destination is an end after all!!! It's the experience getting there that memorializes it forever right? the epic highs and lows of high school football...
(sorry riverdale joke)
it's impossible to escape generative Al these days lol and while this painting wasn't made with the intention to comment on it specifically, I find that the work culture & capitalism we live in prioritizes so much constant output, end products, and quantity over quality. Of course the introduction of genAl is so appealing & seen as
"revolutionary" because everyday people may feel that they can get their "time" back by forgoing the journey.
Why sit through a long convoluted process of making art, of racking your brain for ideas, or putting yourself through the vulnerable process of spending hours on work to show the world a glimpse of your heart for it to
"fail" "be a waste of time" "no engagement"?
But isn't the process the heart of it all? Yes of course for art! BUT ISN'T IT TO LIFE AS WELL?? Are we born just to die? Don't our lives have more meaning because we live them? If the art and work and life we seek out is only worth its end product, what does that say about the human experience?
Will we race to the bottom to suck the life out of everything we do just to be done & maximize profits & output? I have an endless amount of thoughts about genAl and everything else these companies are trying to push down on us. It's genuinely disheartening and I feel so insane lol. But I can only live my life and seek out the things I want: weird, heartfelt, genuine things made by hand & heart from people. Why should I care about something you didn't even care to make? ** anyways...
stop & smell the roses, spend years on ur craft, and ride out our lives in as many little inefficiencies as possible

not surprised about there being ppl in animation who will or already have embraced AI to line their own pockets. with this most recent backlash, I’m sure the rest will be more even more secretive about their use but doesn’t change the fact that they’re LOSERS!!!!!!! who stand for nothing lol

Happy Witch Hat Atelier Day!! 🖋️💐🎉

A painting of the main cast of Witch Hat Atelier. They're all huddled close, Olrugio and Quifrey supporting the kids as they all hold onto Coco. Coco is crouched above a pool of water reaching one hand in to touch a larger hand disappearing into the depths. The water is made of brightly colored abstract blobs wooshing and rippling from the point where their hands meet. Colorful flowers dot the ground, and behind are trees with bare branches.

🍀mon🍀 @monwinvo.bsky.social · 25/03/2026

I tried leaving parts of the clay raw for the eyes but my clay body was so textured I should have figured it wouldn’t be a clear shape… but I still think it’s cute!! abstraction 🙂‍↕️

before starting ceramics, i thought i would LOVE the glazing portion of the process but it has turned into my most procrastinated / least favorite parts 😔

I’ve been using the koala jar + crescent moon jar as little hopes/dreams/positivity collectors ✨ one of the cups turned out more food safe than the other (lol) so it’s been my go to caffeine vessel!!
