I really like the transitional plumage of the male Green Honeycreepers, where they still have a bit of their mama's bright green but they're getting their black cap and turquoise body. They seem a little self-conscious, but I want to let them know they're gorgeous. Colombia #birds #colombia
A vibrant bird perched on a moss-covered branch, its feathers a dazzling mix of turquoise and emerald, shimmering with subtle hints of gold and green. The bird’s dark, speckled crown contrasts with its bright yellow beak, while the blurred backdrop of lush greenery evokes a sense of tropical serenity.

A long hummingbird perched on a thin, bare branch, displaying vibrant iridescent plumage. Its body is a mix of brilliant green and blue hues, with a metallic sheen that reflects light. The bird has a long, slender tail that extends significantly beyond its body, fading into deep blue and violet tones. Its beak is straight, thin, and black, and its dark eye is surrounded by the vibrant colors of its feathers. The background is softly blurred in shades of green, creating a natural and serene environment that emphasizes the bird's striking colors.
