One guess who produced this...that Crewkerne guy who makes loads of fan fiction AI stuff about Badenoch?

Watch them as they both move back to their respective far Eastern countries as soon as their mandatory residence term here is done, so they can watch and orchestrate the interference from afar while raking in more corrupt billions from their sunlounger.

Wonder what his view on Kemi Badenoch is...born here by parents wanting her to have citizenship and then raising her fully abroad, only to come back here to be a thorn in Reform's side.

Seems deliberate how they've put the 'cut' against the £50bn, rather than that the disability payments will be cut/scrapped. And putting the cash bit ('ooh cutting public spending') before the means. The Reform policy is centred on punishing disability, how much money it 'saves' is coincidental.

More 'gone down to the local school DT department and asked them to whip something up' I think.

He could give practically every household in the USA $10,000. Or almost $1000 to every single human on the African continent. Imagine the lives he could change, the change he could effect with such a gesture.

Could the BBC maybe do a smidge of research into the long history of this endlessly recycled 'debate', which is had at every juncture when some far right loons want to denigrate foreigners for 'taking our homes/throne/land/jobs' and thinkers, poets, authors etc have to inform them they're wrong?

Round and round we go. A friend wrote an entire PhD discussing 'Englishness' in Daniel Defoe's work, and his assertion that it's a dynamic concept shaped continuously by immigration. That was his response to the far right of his day...the Beeb need to realise they're part of the problem now.

Yesterday, I attended a Brian Eno talk about the nature of creativity and art based on *What Art Does*, the short book he published with Bette Adriaanse last year: www.faber.co.uk/product/9780... 1/
An 18th century portrait of a grand lady ('Mrs Robinson'). She looks extremely put-upon. To either side of her is a tiny storyteller, declaming loudly into her ears.

Nothing requires rage. Absolutely nothing whatsoever. Anyone who believes rage is a state in which anything rational, productive, useful or reasonable can be achieved hasn't reached emotional maturity.

And if we end up with PMNF there will be no more 'internal leaks' against the leader, no more 'cabinet wants to replace the PM' for media to froth about...because NF will be the sole owner of the governing company. If he's ousted there would be no more Reform 'party'. So he could reign omnipotently.

The irony is that all the Reform electing seats are out on the leafy suburban fringes where the money lives. It's not those fed up with 'broken Britain' putting them in, it's the comfortably retired and reliving their youth hatred of Johnny Foreigner.

It's not coming up in Pocketcasts either. Think it must take a while to 'seep through' the system after launch. Hopefully it'll appear before the Giro starts.

The amount of carbon being released into the air with this war will speed up sea level rise, so they may as well just wait till the whole Emirati peninsula is underwater and sail over it. Nobody will really notice it's gone, except some poor Telegraph columnists.

She's wearing a lanyard which is uncommon at Glasto, normal punters just have tickets. And it doesn't look like an entry pass, more volunteer or worker pass possibly with a charity.

Indeed, there are circumstances it's legal to accompany someone into the booth. How did these volunteers know that wasn't the case, and discerned intent to coerce? Were they stood by the booth or just observing from a distance? The group recruits students, were they fully trained in the law?

Impressive to get two totally different shades of blue in one sky - including exactly the same hue as the bus and turbans. And Matt casts no shadow. Aptly.

At a rough estimate you'd have to take 10,000 of these 'courses' to equal a degree, meaning 10m people taking them is like 1000 degrees. Whereas the OU has provided 2 million degrees. As an OU alumnus it pains me to see the govt degrade both it and the whole concept of 'lifelong learning'.

There've been 6 years since WWII where the committee decided not to award the prize at all, but the last time was in the 70s. Seems like a good time to press pause again and see how the world pans out.

It would be a total and utter coincidence if a potential donor who wanted anonymity paid £349000 for all the shirts, got all the tickets and had a private lunch (that was already arranged) with Farage to discuss 'business'. Then sold all the shirts off to make the money back.

That "whose side are you on" is a chilling portent for the authoritarian state he wants, where one side of the population is demonised for expressing an ounce of decency, while a hard dividing line is drawn separating them from Farage's whipped up xenophobic army.

Most Brits don't understand how the French see their cars as an extension of their expressive arms. A beep or fifteen, cutting you up at the tiny traffic lights, roughing up the bumpers of your obnoxiously, aristocratically shiny new car, are just expressions of hospitality and friendliness.

Yes, and when 'corporate memory' is still produced in a vast variety of niche/older formats, the IT has to be specced to always read them. I worked in LG archives and we received floppies, CorelDraw, WordPerfect, traffic modelling and other weird files, all used by depts. Migrating wd be so costly.

It's remarkable how engrained in US production the prison workforce is. They make park benches, furniture, clothing, books... All US army clothing and body armour is made by a company with 100% prisoner workforce. It also makes baseball caps, probably including Maga ones.

If her idea of 'AI regulations' is that far off the rest of Europe's then that's not exactly encouraging for what she and Labour have planned.

And what's going to happen now is that Maga fans will copy it, like with Trump's ear bandage, and adopt it claiming it's their 'inside' way of 'throwing their heart out' to the Maga cause...and definitely not that other thing.

Great Expectations, A Wizard of Earthsea, Canterbury Tales, Mayor of Casterbridge, Shakespeare (Caesar, A&C, Macbeth), Of Mice and Men. Wizard of Earthsea really stood out as a deep riff on life that really connected with us as kids.
