OH MY FUCKEN GOD this is PRECIOUS ;; Thank you SO much for drawing Li — he looks like such a bean here 😭 I usually don't know how to react to gifts and acts of kindness like this, so I'm sorry if my gratitude sounds watered down.. I've been having so much bad luck recently. This helped.

Thank you so much! <': I don't know what I really do any so much different from other people that would garner your interest, but I am glad that my art amounts to some modicum of worth to some people. It means a lot to me to hear that you enjoy what I have to offer. 🙂‍↕️

Sometimes I like to go wild and think about "what if Samurotts were Knights rather than Samurais" and that's how Scotch was born! And then "what if pirate". Then Salma was born!

I know a little bit about Japanese stuff like traditional wear, food, some weapons, etc. For instance, I wanted to make a Naginata Samurott, so I made Karin! Did you know that Naginatas were a woman's weapon to defend houses and used by onna-mushas? I found that empowering so, here I am!

Interesting question! I suppose the first thought I think of when I design Samurotts is to think about the weapon they would use first before anything else. The aesthetic is well, pretty traditional Japanese stuff, like Haori, Hakama and Shimenawa belts.

Thank you so much <': I have been drawing for a good 16 years now, I would hope that it would turn out to be something I could be proud of. ...maybe one day I will.
