Well, that was an experience I had to push myself through, no matter how many times my heart protested and said, "no you’re not in love with this yet! But as they say, keep on keeping on.” Death Stranding is a game I added to my Steam library for what feels like forever ago, and I thought it was presented to me as a walking simulator (in a good way, not derogatory) that had me think, okay there’s going to be a lot of narrative moments but I wasn’t entirely correct on that.

I have been to British Columbia twice to go skiing in Whistler, and the Rockies are breathtaking. But in video games, mountains can be a combination of beautiful, but also a pain in the ass for me and many other gamers.

Well, I’m back to reading Bridgerton again and I’m almost done with these books. It’s quite a relief because I was getting really tired of some of the same themes present in these books. The biggest was the whole ton thing with gossip and reputation. But Hyacinth, the youngest of the children, she struck me as the type of woman who didn’t give a damn about that.

Keeping young people safe online is a goal most of us can agree on. The harder question is how we get there.

Well, I did it, evacuation complete. This was a long time coming. What did I do? I deleted my Facebook account. I never thought I’d get to this day. Hell, I recall setting up memorialisation settings to have it deleted if something were to happen to me. Who would’ve thought I would end up just pulling the plug myself?

There’s a lot to appreciate in the world of Westeros and beyond, and I haven’t written much about it since reading Fire & Blood. One thing I love a lot about this universe is the variety of different castles we see all around us. It makes me wonder, which one would I like to live in? Some of them are majestic, while others are ancient, even eerie.

Another round of going through my Steam wishlist, and playing demos to decide what goes and what stays on the list for eventual purchase. The results were balanced this time.

I’m going to name this review after a Kamelot song, because why not? It’s a great way to close off a trilogy that I finished reading in the summer while I was taking a break from writing. The Lost Bride Trilogy was a fun read, despite sometimes I felt there were details I didn’t need to read about, like every single time Sonya and Cleo are cooking, but that’s my only complaint.

August 27th 2026, the saddest day of the year ever. As if this year couldn’t get any worse, now this has happened. It’s a miracle that I’m not crying over this, but if I were still sixteen years old, then I would have. I chose not to publish the post on the day it happened because, first, I remained committed to taking a break from blogging (except for one writing prompt) until September, and second, I wanted to take the time to think this through since this one will be emotional and everything must come from the heart.

I’ve been playing a lot of games lately, and this is one I fondly remember from Gamescom and fell in love, then I acquired it on one of Steam’s Autumn Sales.
