A drawing from 2021/2022 using a personal technique inspired by scratchboard. Inspired by archeological artefact, i draw the plan of my childhood house on the stele www.pierrebarrauddelagerie.com/drawinggalle... #drawing #art #blackandwhite #archeology #scratchboard

A black and white photograph of 'Stele III', a 2021 sculpture by Pierre Barraud de Lagerie, displayed on a metal stand against a black background. The stele is an irregularly shaped, elongated piece of rough limestone. Its surface is intricately carved with a series of interconnected, recessed rectangular forms creating a geometric pattern or architectural layout. The stone retains natural imperfections, mineral inclusions, and acid-etched patinas, resulting in dark, mottled textures, especially on the left. The focused studio lighting emphasizes the coarse texture and the varying depths of the geometric relief.

"Low End" A 100x70cm scratchboard drawing that took me too much time to complete, but at the end, it was worth it, I won a drawing contest with it :) #drawing #scratchboard #art #artist #frenchartist #abstract #architecture #brutalism

A high-contrast black and white scratchboard drawing featuring complex, textured geometric patterns. The composition is a dark, abstract puzzle of interlocking rectangles, triangles, and a central circle, framed by brutalist, staircase-like architectural structures on the sides, with a dramatic play of light and deep shadows.

Handcrafted ceramics by my brother Simon, fired in an anagama kiln, some ceramics were removed from the kiln during firing, the glaze was still molten, to create bubbles on the surface Check his work www.instagram.com/simon_barraud/ #exhibition #art #ceramics #artexhibition #artinstallation

simple idea, maximum impact. Several around thirty golden survival blankets were hung in the nave of the church. through the lights, they seemed to glow with internal movement. www.pierrebarrauddelagerie.com/metamorphisme #exhibition #art #golden #design #artdesign #artexhibition #artinstallation

"L'oeil" a drawing I've made at the very beginning of 2020, 50x70cm with my scratchboard technique. I wanted to create something with symetry and to broke it with asymetric light. I worked for year in a theater and the influence is quite obvious www.pierrebarrauddelagerie.com/drawinggalle...
