The mechanical components presented a more challenging situation: all the rollers were seized, and the X and Y rails were severely rusted. Over the course of several days, every roller was removed, cleaned, and lubricated , and the Y rail was polished; the X rail is next in line for polishing.

Following the cleaning and replacement some components, the electronic system has initially resumed operation and is capable of passing basic self tests.

HP 70902A IF section, a part of HP 70K modular spectrum analyzer. Btw this is a defective module, don't disassemble good module, doing so will cause the filters lose its calibration.
