My commissions have been implicitly open the entire time - but now I have a formal reference for pricing. The gates are open! #oc #b3d #blender

Miiiiiight have to finally open comms again soon. There are too many Switch 2 games coming out that I wanna play. Need to start saving up for the console.~

Thanks! I appreciate that. Gold and white is always an amazing color combo.~

I started replaying the Link's Awakening remake after the Zelda direct. I always forget how good this one is. And the fact that it was originally on the Gameboy is mind boggling. Definitely in the top 5 Zelda games for me.

Finishing up a gift for a friend on my saucier account. This was super duper fun to make. Also trying out some new things with rendering ^^

DV breeding is so easy. It's really recontextualized shiny hunting for me. I've always heard the rhetoric that shiny hunting got easier/watered down each generation. But the easiest method was right there from the start. Shows how spamming a billion 1/8192 encounters was never the dev intention, IMO

Just hatched a shiny Dunsparce in Crystal! Now imagine if I luck out and hit the 1/100 odds of it evolving into a 4 segment Dudunsparce. 👀

Now that the initial shock has worn off, the OoT remake art style is growing on me. I still think the faces can be a bit strange but other than that the environments look great. I can imagine running around looking at stuff for hours.

eyyyy, gosh now that's a deep cut. Congrats, I give you a gold star for that one. ⭐

I dunno why people are saying the Amiibo masks look weird. They seem fine to me.

170

Monnodev @monno.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Yes. But also in the new OoT remake. They just had the direct and Link... He doesn't look bad, but he feels overdetailed.

Monnodev @monno.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Link looks weird. Can we all take a sec to agree that Link looks weird?

Shiny gen 2 Corsola, let's goooo. So far I've gotten a Snubbull (female), Azumarill (male), and now Corsola (female). Though they all still need names. I really like gen 2 shiny breeding. The system has a lot of technical nuance and I'm sad it never came back in the later games.

Things have finally cooled down now. Man that was probably the worst heatwave I can ever remember. Hope everyone is doing well. Now that things are cooler I need to lock in and be more productive. Get back to the ol' grind.

Trying out old shiny hunting methods before Bank shuts down. Currently shiny breeding in gen 2. Like, did you know in this game not only is shininess genetic, but mons can have a "recessive shiny gene" in that they won't be shiny, but can still pass it on to their children?? This is wild and cool.

That's a good point, could give them some weird features for more niche interests. Plus aliens are just cute.

Monnodev @monno.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

That's a good idea, I might steal it. Also the world needs more busty boys~

I should make another adopt. But need an idea of who / what to make. Any ideas?

Man I've been finding it hard to work or keep up with friends in this heat. The weather has just been draining. I hope it cools down soon...

Just got 8 shiny magnemite off of one pokeradar chain in Pearl. Man the pokeradar was busted.

Monnodev @monno.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Yeah HOME is the modern HUB, and Bank is how you transfer your mons up from generations 3-7. So this will cut off compatibility with all of those games.

010

Monnodev @monno.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Yeah I hate it. I just recently started cobbling together my collection of old games because I wanted to finally do a Ribbon Master. Looks like I'll be able to just barely squeak by but I know some people who wanted to start and are now blindsided. This is a terrible decision, I think.

010

Monnodev @monno.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Pokemon Bank is shutting down. I repeat, this is not a drill. We've got 6 months, so make them count. I need to lock in and Ribbon Master my Munchlax twins and transfer them up. Man this sucks.

Tizzie doing her barmaid thing 😊💚 Alright, fess up! Which one of you took it?

The speech bubble reads: "I know one of you stinkers has my skirt!"

Tizzie Snoozebutton, a busty shortstack goblin with orange hair, yellow-green skin, and magenta eyes. She is dressed in her barmaid attire, sans skirt and apron. In her right hand she holds a plate of food--rump roast, carrots, and potatoes--that steams, fresh from the kitchen. In her left hand she holds two frosty, foamy beers in glass mugs. She gives the viewer a "stern" look and delivers her comment while she walks past, her huge boobs and ass jiggling with each step.

In the bottom right, my signature: @SombreroSunshine

Moogle WIP. I got a bit silly with his proportions. How on earth do those tiny wings keep all that airborne?

WIP Today I found out that Moogles (at least most versions) don't have tails. Isn't that weird? Like how the Dragonborn from DnD don't have tails. Feels off, IMO. I might give him a tiny little rabbit tail anyways.

A friend talked me into giving FF14 another try. Y'all will know if it goes well or not depending on how many hyper booba Lalafells and Moogles I post in the next few months.

Just do whatever you're comfortable with. Life is already too messy and complicated to also put these mental restraints on yourself in what is supposed to be your free space. ❤️

Not until post-game. But S'cool, I made a shortstack Meowth model a while back so this is a perfect excuse to do some renders with her. ^^

soooooo a meowth only run? I can make that work. Thank you for your excellent and wise wisdom. ~
