September might be over but it's still Subtember in my heart

fanart of Sakamoto and Zura from Gintama. Zura is in his red sleeveless Zurako dress. Sakamoto is on his knees, arms on Zura's lap, looking up at him with what I hope is an expression that conveys pure horny subby desire

I'm a day late for sakazura halfway birthday - an event celebrated by literally 2's of people worldwide - but I was determined to celebrate it anyway ✌️my 2 favourite idiots in love #辰桂真ん中バースデー #坂桂

panel 1 of a 2 panel mini comic. sakamoto from gintama is putting his coat around zura and offering him his scarf. he looks cheerful about it

panel 2 of a 2 panel comic. zura is now wrapped in scarf and jacket and looks cosy af. sakamoto standing beside him looks notably less cheerful than before. an appended twitter post by user untitled reads "(putting my jacket over a man's shoulders) I'm actually really cold now haha. it's ok though. oh wow it's super cold. oh my god." Imagine I know how to depict shivering in art. I don't, but let's pretend.

"the chief was caught buying a woman in Yoshiwara" happy birthday Kondo, I'm glad they let you be pretty

hijikata and kondo from gintama. kondo is dressed as a courtesan. hijikata is clinging to kondo's arm, smoking a cigarette and looking a bit sheepish but hopefully also suitably possessive. the height difference is exaggerated and I am not sorry

Hiii hello! Sorry I missed this I check my strawpage once a week 😅 Never say never! I adore that spooky tarot freak. I'd love to write more for him sometime. And I'm deeply fond of Kidd also. So who knows! I'm so happy you enjoy the way I write them, and it's so sweet of you to tell me 💙 thank you

this is kind of wild when you consider that 25c is *still* an above average summer temperature here. no wonder this summer has felt relentless even outside of the 6 heatwaves.

ok firstly anon I am kissing you platonically on the mouth <3333 thank you so much for the incredibly kind words!! I can't believe I started writing that fic 6(!) years ago. I wrote it before I'd even visited Hokkaido, so a lot of the research I did was secondhand. I'll talk a little bit about it:

strawpage ask. text reads: So, rest your trigger from my finger is my gold standard for fic, as a reader and as an author. Do you have any tips for creating such an immersive experience in your work?

I'd say "don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining" but that would require us to have had any rain at all for the last 6 weeks as a point of comparison

headline reads "UK on track for record heat-related deaths this year, UKHSA estimates". the caption under an image of very brown scorched grass says "An estimated 2,877 heat-related deaths were caused by the May and June heatwaves in the UK"

To further illustrate why "well 30c isn't hot where I live" is a smug and unhelpful answer at best, consider that 30c was so rare in the UK as recently as the 80's that it was considered highly unusual. We've topped 35c on 6 days this year alone. We are on the same latitude as northern Newfoundland
