It was my birthday recently, and it has become a bit of a tradition that I get a Plant 🌿 This year's treat was a Lemon Tree. So of course I read up, take a cutting, and hope the heatwave doesn't kill it 🤞 The mother tree seems happy enough though. So there's always a another chance to try 😁

It's important to do things that bring joy. Even if it's as simple as having a brew, talking a walk, hugging a loved one, fussing a pet, & so on & so forth. We all need those little moments to recharge our sanity bank, it makes it easier to deal with the bad stuff.

Still sorting old files. A lot of unfinished XCFs have to be converted into KRAs. Sometimes GnuIMP works, other times meh, meh & thrice Meh! So here's one of a number of incomplete bits from the vaults. "Primordial Sun Elemental" A suggestion from when I on a different SM. ...I need a Brew.

Unfinished Artwork. Sci-fi digital drawing of a Sun Elemental in space, with stranded astronauts and spaceship wreckage in the foreground.

After watching an old clip of Todd McFarlane and Stan Lee, along with the amount of mermaids I'm seeing (that time of year)... I got a little inspired this evening. Not sure if it constitutes graphic media, but better safe than sorry I guess. Quick sketch, Blue watercolour pencil on 140gsm paper.

Sample part of a digital WIP, using a sketch from my imagination. Still quite far from finished... Although I may redo it from scratch in a traditional format. Experimenting with methods is fun, and I'm in no rush to finish this one. Hubby named it "Happy Little Trees", and I'm sticking with that.

Digital fantasy drawing. Man in woodland chopping drown trees except the Trees are conscious.
