"That's a very valid concern" as in they know the deal will destroy them, but who cares? They will care if we put the same pressure on Roku that we did on Disney when Mango Mussolini wanted Jimmy Kimmel fired.
Hi Monica,

I completely understand how you feel — that’s a very valid concern, and I appreciate you sharing it.

Roku announced an agreement to combine with Fox Corporation, but the deal isn’t final yet and is expected to close in the first half of 2027. Until then, Roku and Fox remain separate companies operating independently.

Your Roku device and apps will continue to work as normal, and there are no expected changes to pricing or free content at this time.

I’ll make a note of your feedback so our team is aware. Is there anything I can help you with on your Roku device today?

Sincerely,

Roku Escalations Team

Quote post was disabled for this but screenshots always work.
The city of Burlington Vermont issued and advisory about road closures and failed to mention that the roads were closed because ice was running over pedestrians and the local police were helping.

Even Republicans think Gretchen Whitmer *had* potential to be the next Dem for President. Too bad she had to go the way of Columbia, CBS, Paul, Weiss, etc. etc. Collaborators never fare well once authoritarian regimes end.
French female collaborator punished by having her head shaved to publicly mark her, 1944.Two women, partially stripped, their heads shaved and with swastikas painted on their faces, are marched barefoot down the streets of Paris, to shame and humiliate them for collaborating with the Germans during the Second World War. @reuters.com WTF?! Y'all know this headline is BS. Y'all make it sound like it was the lawyer who was negligent when the truth is that he was fired because he wouldn't lie to the judge like the DOJ wanted him to. Fuck y'all. This is why I follow @meidastouch.com youtu.be/Wv7B-LuIBGk?...
A libelous headline from Reuters that says a DOJ lawyer was fired because he wasn't doing his job, which is untrue.

Dying fleece! This is what I think is Dorset that I just finished scouring being dyed with Wilton's Kelly Green. It's a sample of an enormous fleece for my next sweater spin. #FinishItFebruary

So, I'm flipping through the news on YouTube. . . .
A photo of a TV with the news section of YouTube showing a thumbnail of a video with the American flag and the flag of the department of education The caption says President Trump wants to abolish United States and then the information on the news outlet of course this was truncated from United States department of education however the part that shows only says that he wants to abolish the country

Ok, my blood pressure is getting way out of hand, I'm going to log off and watch Psych while I knit. Yesterday, I was doing some swatching and it turned into another sweater. #KnitSky #TherapyKnitting #Fuck47
The beginning of a basic top down raglan sweater in lavender. The piece is on a circular needle with bulb safety pins for row markers. It is on a denim couch.

Finished #SkyKal! It's hard to block sweaters to look good in pictures when you have this much bust shaping.
Finished sweater with a blue and grey circular yoke, cuffs and hem

Update on my #SkyKnit! Yes, there is an ass ton of bust shaping in it, I'm DDD cup. I added the last motif in the yoke as a detail at the cuff, and will use it in the hem, because I freaking love colorwork! The pattern is Nova by Knit Purl Girl, the yarn is Nua Worsted, my favorite yarn ever!
A circular yoke sweater with blue and grey colorwork in the yoke and at the cuff that is finished. The body and most of the finished sleeve is grey. The other sleeve and hem have not been finished.

WOOHOO! It's lts looking awesome! You should join the #SkyKnit KAL. It's just a bunch of us fiber arting projects that are blue or have blue in them. Because I'm shameless about my craft, here's my project
A circular yoke sweater with blue and grey colorwork in the yoke. It is knit top down with the sleeves already put on barber cord and half of the body below the yoke finished in grey.

An update on my #SkyKnit; I laid it out to take some measurements and Pickles claimed it. I had to bribe her with treatos to get it back to start the sleeves. But at least it's Pickles Approved.

Here is my contribution for the #SkyKAL. The pattern is Nova and I'm knitting it in Nua worsted. It's my first circular yolk sweater.
A sweater in the process of being knit. It is a circular yolk crew neck pullover being knit top down. The yolk is knit in blue and grey yarn in a colorwork pattern. The sleeves haven't been started and the body is half finished.

I finished another thing! Again, this is made from my own Shetland handspun (the sweater, not the cat) and knit using Ann Budd's basic raglan formula in The Knitter's Handy Book of Top Down Sweaters. The stripes are a blend of the moorit and white and it was spun woolen at heavy fingering to DK
Moorit raglan sweater with grey stripes near the edges of the collar, cuffs, and bottom of the sweater laying on a wood table and a grey and taupe striped cat who just loves my blocking mats which are pink, blue, yellow, and green.

I won yarn chicken! The pattern is from Ann Budd's The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns. The yarn was spun from Knit Picks Wool of the Andes blended with gold sari silk spun from rolags, 2 ply, fingering weight and knitted on US 1 needles.
A pair of dark orange mittens with gold flecks next to the remains of the yarn used to knit them. There was about 10g of yarn left.

One down, one to go. I'm going to be playing yarn chicken and, let me tell you, you haven't *really* played yarn chicken until you've played handspun yarn chicken!
A single adult size mitten knit with handspun tweed yarn that is dark orange with bits of gold and red sari silk flecks throughout. The mitten is on a pink fuzzy throw on a denim blue sofa. There are 3 blue bulb pins indicating 10 rows each of knit 2, purple 2 ribbing

It's the Tour de Fleece! Prepping a Shetland bat from a Shetland ram fleece named David Hasselhoff. I'm spinning it long draw and hope to get a sweater quantity from it. Ok, maybe not a SQ for my DDD body, but somebody.
