replaying nnff to win the leaderboard and I forgot how hard Iron Dragon was, lol btw Iron Dragon and Hard give roughly the same score, I was just feeling brave and crazy (IrDr only gives 464,000 more points total in the end-game bonus)

No Need for Flowers was intended to be a simple/realistic first project to practice being able to make more complex stuff in the future... In the end, it turned out pretty complex itself, lol

No Need for Flowers progress update: I am about two or three weeks away from finishing the final boss + level... (will probably make a detailed spoiler free post with more info on Steam and itch later) There's still quite a bit after that, but it's a wild feeling knowing it's almost over

I simplified how blue stars work in NNFF and playing for score suddenly became like 40x better (this update is coming to the demo in a few weeks or something, idk yet) Also, I made it easier to collect items because collecting things is fun #indiedev #gamedevelopment #GameMaker #gamedev #aseprite
