In the past I’ve shied away from writing shorter chapters bc the vague consensus in this fandom seemed to be that longer = better, but after posting a few fics with an intentional 5k word chapter length and tight pacing, my fears about readers scoffing at my efforts turned out to be irrational… +

SJ is trying to bite JK’s hand. They’re both wearing the Swim merch jackets.

Summary:

Seokjin knows that he’s being the worst best friend ever. He lusts after Namjoon’s omega and digs up their complicated past when everyone has already had their happily ever after.

I have the patience of a toddler so I’m already writing the sequel to Push Through 🫠 I just love writing SJ as the fool of the hour after making NJ the resident clown in my fics for 6 years straight 😔

“Who are these for?”
Jimin rolled his eyes. “For Jungkook, obviously. He’s coming over for a sleepover while you have your little alphas’ night.”
Mid-escape attempt, Seokjin went limp. He tried to visualise the paper calendar they had hanging on the wall next to the fridge.
“It was Jungkook’s idea?” Jimin said in a questioning tone, but the question of the day clearly was: Is Seokjin hyung an imbecile?
“Whatever, just…” Jimin raked his fingers through his hair. His dark roots were showing a bit, which was terribly attractive to Seokjin. “Just roll with it, please? Jungkookie means well. We all know how well you’d get along with those three if you just spent a little more time together as a group.”

Pirate themed moodboard. First row: a pirate ship; sirens in the ocean; a pile of old money on a table. Second row: a shipwrecked person trying to escape the ocean; the OT7 image used on the cover of Keep Swimming; Jimin with braided hair (in his faerie prince look from the Arirang tour). Sheltered by your Heart 🖤 Jinmin 🖤 Explicit 🖤 WIP (8.597k word) 🖤 Omegaverse 🖤 Forced Caretaking 🖤 Dubcon 🖤 Written for @btsforcedcarefest.myatproto.social 🖤 Moodboard by @hopekoobii.bsky.social 🔗 archiveofourown.org/works/790773...

Moodboard in shades of yellow and pink, full of light
First row: a wave over the sand of the beach; an open window full of light; Jimin from the Swim MV.
Second row: Seokjin staring at the viewer; hands touching lightly; another window where you see a butterfly through the blinds.
Third row: Someone's thumb in someone else's mouth; a bath waiting for someone; peach slices.

Sheltered by Your Heart
ArianneMaya
Summary:

After years trying to take care of himself, Jimin is exhausted. And ready to admit that maybe the government program that pairs omegas with alpha caretakers exists for a reason. He signs up for a six-months placement, telling himself that it's temporary.

Seokjin, however, has no intention of letting him go.

Second row: genius lab; Yoongi in a dark shirt, looking especially soft; a pile of pillows and blankets on a bed. Third row: someone hand cupping someone else's throat, with their thumb resting under the adam's apple; the sun shining through light curtains; and someones's hands on a notebook, ready to write.

ArianneMaya
Summary:

While working on a new song, Yoongi finds himself transported to a different universe, one where BTS doesn’t exist and the members don’t know him. They do, however, really want to help him.
There’s just one thing Yoongi doesn’t understand: why do they keep calling him ‘omega’?
