A visit to Tarlair outside pools this morning at MacDuff in Aberdeenshire. It was closed in 1995 and was pretty derelict when I last visited it in 2018 (3rd pic). Today the pavillion is a tea room with added kitchen but the 3 pools are waiting for funding to be renovated. It was busy in its day.

Taking photos of the wonderfully named lichen Old Man's Beard today using my folding photography light tent. The lichen is a subject I've been thinking of including in a handmade book for a while. Needless to say there's pressure on to go out for a walk.
