I don't pay for netflix. Or support them. I watch my stuff the pirate way. But the war for cybertron triology was pretty decent. I enjoyed it a lot. Of course I think it was cancelled- as all netflix shows do.

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I want more of that- because it was a good solid story. The pace was great, the story intriguing. And it wasn't JUST for children in the way it was written. And I think directors need to stop thinking that a child cannot understand a solid plot.

110

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

oh and transformers one was also pretty good. There were some child humor, but it was not saturated with it or too obnoxious. I am SO UPSET we won't get a sequel.

whenever alt-stream actually updates to be able to use all of my programs. I might eventually move to the platform and abandon twitch.

I appreciate your hard work. And thank you for answering my questions. I think a lot of my inner circle, and my bf included- would love a platform like what you made. We've wanted this since forever.

I did like the beastwars show growing up. The animations were ass, but it was still pretty solid. I just wish there was more of that. Also animated was not as bad as most other children shows. Cartoons back then were built different.

110

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

There's a lot of adults that just roll their eyes and get uninterested when that sort of humor is portrayed. I'm not saying you can't find this funny. But a lot of us don't, and it makes for poor content for a majority of people who can't enjoy this. I only liked the netflix series so far.

210

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

oh hecc yeah. I might actually do a full transfer eventually once that's online. Because we're all tired of twitch's bullshit.

110

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I want a show that's closer to the comics' story. Because that's what got me into tf. the idw comics is my favorite storyline. I read them all. And I just want something similar in video form.

010

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I think most are mid. I just want one piece of media that's a lil' more for me and people who agree with me. Because stuff for children is getting so voerdone and I can't enjoy any of the video content because all adult things are ass and I cannot sit through the kind of humor of most tf shows.

210

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

oh wow that's actually great. Will or is there some sort of integration so far with say- programs like vtubestudio? Or mixitup?

120

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Take the idw mtmte for example- there was a LOT of shenanigans. But- it was delivered in a way that was a mess that made sense? I'm not saying you cannot have humor- I'm saying, make the humor in a way that adults will understand and not groan in annoyance.

020

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I do like when they blend both- but the humor doesn't have to be to the point where you can clearly see it's supposed to make a 3 y/o laugh. You can still make something funny without alienating the other target audience. Children are not stupid, they understand and like solid plots too.

220

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Hey I have a question. Will there be a way to monetize our content? I think a lot of us want to part from twitch- but a lot of us also do this as a job or side gig. I'm not saying ad revenue- but maybe subscriptions to unlock cool things?

120

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I'll give you an example- Miko in Prime keeps going through the in the bridge. You would think that after the 10th time they would supervise the kids when opening it. but they never do. And I think it's a weird plot device and it's overdone. And there's a LOT of that in several series.

120

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I don't like the humor in most shows, it's cringey at best. There's a lot of weird plot armor moments and random bits that aren't really plausible, things that're also repetitive and just plain silly. The writing is poor and cliche. It's like they do not care about making something solid.

220

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

There are more adults than kids liking the franchise, actually. So it being catered to kids is overdone when I feel like adults should have some content too. There's something about the delivery in the writing in most shows that just makes me uninterested. I gave up on prime, as an example.

Cyberworld is too baby for me. I'm more of a idw/skybound sort of person. I perfer when things are serious and don't have catered-for-children humor made for toy marketing.

120

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I think it's because it's Dylan O'Brien who did some real stupid shit on social media to pat himself on the back for being progressive about lgbtq+- but basically not following it up with actions. Misidentifying his own brother, not calling when he went through top surgery, not calling for bday

110

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

His brother is transmasc. He didn't even bother to try to understand shit about him and his transition.

140

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I also think that it's because the og va from the bumblebee bay series is basically all like "oh my sibling is nb and the world is richer with them" and tuts it as a sort of virtue signaling. But in reality, he never checked on said brother, not even after his top surgery, not even at his birthday.

140

MonarchLou (commissions open ) 🐇🥩👑🏳️‍⚧️🍁⚜ @monarchlou.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

That's what I heard. We never got a piece of media that's good and for adults except for the siege netflix series. Everything else was too baby or straight up garbage. The Bay movies are soooo bad and the designs are way too busy.
