I am so dreading this. It’s been a shit show already and it’s going to get worse. Back in 2016 I had posted something similar on the book of face, but added that I hoped I was wrong. I wasn’t, and now I know better. Not sure if it’s better that I know what to expect (to a point) or not.

George knows firsthand way more than anyone should how terrible things can be done by our government. Even knowing all of that, he’s still ready to fight for this country. He still believes we are great. He’s not wrong, and we should all be ready to fight alongside him.

My favorite place in the world is Great Smoky Mountains National Park. My hope is to eventually visit all of our National Parks. It would be awesome if they stayed around. Our country is beautiful. We need to help keep it that way.

Happy Friday Bluesky! This is probably one of my favorite views in my favorite place, Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Despite all of the bullshit, this country of ours is BEAUTIFUL. I would encourage everyone to get outside and experience some of it. It’s great for perspective.

My husband and I do not agree on politics. We have known this from the start. We usually avoid it. When we don’t, we argue. I’m emotional and he’s stubborn. I love this man more than just about anything. He’s my person, there is no doubt in my mind about that. But dammit!

I have a million reasons to hate Trump. But the one that really irritates me? He RUINED politics for me. I used to love it. When I was younger, I dreamed of being in politics. I loved all of it, even the rubber chicken events. Now? I hate it, and it’s his fault. Fuck Trump and his fucking circus. 🖕🏻
