Not watching the #Mets game today because we're visiting our college freshman for family day. Thanks #MestSky feed for the updates!

Rough game for the #Mets tonight. Last place cemented. 2 more games to go.

000

Had to pause the #Mets game so I'm a bit behind 5th: Wow!! Bichette with a homerun! 🍎 Didn't think that would be possible with the wind tonight. "Dropped a Bob Seager on him" lol deep cut Ron! Benge with his 20th homer!! 🍎 20-20 season for Benge!! 1st Met rookie to do it! #LGM

000

Had to pause the #Mets game so I'm a bit behind 3rd inning: Morel was thisclose to making a great catch! Seriously...Alvy needs to lose is ABS card. Rough nite for Pintaro. 3 wild pitches. Oof. Pérez with a wild pitch! What a long half inning. Didn't think it would ever end.

000

Had to pause the #Mets game so I'm a bit behind now Told my husband the most wild stat I've heard: Alvy is now 2-33 with bases loaded. He said " well, he's on the right team"

000

Had to pause the #Mets game so I'm a bit behind 2nd inning musings: Alvy is having a rough nite, but ended the inning with a great throw to catch the steal at 2nd. 3rd inning: Bichette finally gets a hit with RISP Ouch! The hit off the shin has got to hurt - the rough nite continues for Alvy!

Nothing like thinking you're putting the #Mets game on time, but it stared before 7, so you turn it on when Alvy is up to bat with 1 out and bases loaded.... Of course he makes a bad ABS call and hits into a double play. 🙄 At least it's only the first inning. #LGM

Great throw by Torrens!! No steals allowed here #Mets

How is it that the dog needs to go out at the start of the #Mets game, regardless when the game actually starts?

Wow!!!! Brett Baty grandslam! 🍎🍎🍎🍎 Gotta love baseball - you never know what will happen!! #LGM

Bah - really wanted Lindor to get on base. Soto intentionally walked for the third (third!) time tonight. Here's hoping Bichette can get on base/drive in some runs!! #LGM

Awful ABS challenge by Alvy followed by fantastic bunt play! Williams did well his first outing off the IL. Wild stat from Gary - Semien's last home run was the last game Williams pitched in August! #LGM

Lindor gets on base with a 2 out single and Soto hits a homerun!! #LGM

Had to take the dog out. ... Game is now tied 4-4. Guess I missed a bit, but glad it's still tied! #LGM

Great hit by Lindor to start the 9th!! #Mets

Good recovery by Senga after giving up Pete's 300th homer. Now the #Mets need to win!!

020

Alonso striking out on 3 straight pitches he just stared at. Nice pitching by Warren! #LGM

Rough first inning for Manaea. #Mets need to get some offense going #LGM

Time for some #Mets baseball! #LGM (and Pete, the only Oriole allowed to play well tonight 😆)

Great game all around today by the #Mets - Thornton pitching, bullpen coming through, and the defense, including another great catch by Benge, and the offense - 6 homeruns! 12-2 over the stankees lol

Young homerun! 🍎 6 homers for the #Mets today.

Ron's right. It's embarrassing Soto doesn't run out infield hits. #Mets

Home from high school open house and put on the #Mets game. They're up 8-3!! Woohoo!

mommylaughs @mommylaughs.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

They showed some grit and kept the lead. #Mets win!! Great pitching by Manaea until the 6th. Lavender and Senga did well. Great last two outs by Senga with the fork ball and he's 7 for 7 with save opportunities! #LGM
