Just got notice of my cost of living “increase” from social security. I’m sure I’m supposed to be thankful for anything- eventhough I’ve worked for over 55 years. That $43 a month will sure help with French toast ingredients. Medicare up $18; deductibles up $86, for parts A & B. Livin’ the dream!

Went to the store today for eggs. The absolute lowest price I could find was $5.49/dozen. These were your basic eggs…not organic, not cage free, not pasture raised or even large. Plain brown, medium size, regular ass eggs. A month ago they were at least $2 cheaper. WTF?! Well, thanks Dictator Don.
