NYS is in the process of passing a law mandating a 10 day waiting period to buy firearms. Republicans are losing their minds on a Facebook post saying their 2nd amendment rights are being infringed. I push back and said it’s not an infringement. It’s a smart law. The snowflakes lost their minds 🤣

June 14th - hit the pavement. Use your voice. Don’t sit back and watch, hoping it gets better. DO SOMETHING! Silence is compliance. This asshat will be livid when we ruin his big celebration with our protests. Such an epic and patriotic way to say f- you to the orange idiot. Join the fight now!

I love the wording of this statement by Fields on behalf of the Trump Administration. Qualifications: unwavering loyalty, hefty criminal record, if with sexual assault preferred. A lack of true care of concern for the American people and the willingness to sell your soul to the devil…what a joke…

Joined these beautiful people today to speak out against, as one fellow protester perfectly phrased it, “the fuckery that is happening to our country”. President Musk and 1st Lady Trump, you done FA’ed and now you’ll FO. This is just the start. Best get to hiding. Bunker buddies 4 life! #resist

I am done waiting for anyone in our government to do something. It’s up to us, together, unifying as one to put an end to this insanity. The question now is how do we effectively organize? How do we pool the talents, perspectives and experiences of our community to wield our collective strength

During a live feed with the head DNC candidates they talked about how they need to change the way they ask for donations. I disagree, I think they need to stop asking for donations and push for legislation to get the money out of campaigning and government altogether. Stop asking, do something.

I will be calling Rep. Ogles every day to remind him just how much of a swine he is for putting up legislation to grant Trump a third term. He swore to defend and uphold our constitution, not help expedite its dismantling. I strongly encourage you to join me. Don’t let him ignore us. #resistance

How if this protected under free speech? It literally is a symbol of hate, violence and aggression. Germany does not tolerate this even slightly, so why do we? If ICE is indiscriminately targeting immigrants, especially criminals, maybe they should look no further than this jackass. #Deport #Musk

I’ve contacted my representatives and will continue to, but I have little expectations. My fellow Blueskyers, I do think it’s up to us. We have smart people with us - how do we stop this madness? Not in two years, but now. I’m open to any idea, any tool in our collective toolkits. #resistance

The president for Americans - fuck off bro. You shit on the constitution, you burn democracy and the only people you help are criminals. Fuck Trump. Fuck Republicans who support this shit. I’m so fed the fuck up. Make America Great Again my ass. Enough is enough.

Ok hear me out - What if we united and contributed $1, $2, whatever you can into a pool to buy TikTok? Then in the background search for the best leader, hold our own nominations, election, whatever we collectively decide to keep it out of the hands of the rich elite? Anything to stop the madness…

I have so much respect for this woman. Her continuous courage and unshaken will to speak truth to power. Her refusal to apologize but willingness to sit down and have the conversation. Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, you are amazing and thank you for being a voice to the voiceless.

It hasn’t even been 24 hours and I’m seething with rage. If this is making America great again then all of the progress we made throughout our history, fighting for justice and equality, has been for nought. The orange menace and his tater-twats are holding true, destroying all that we have become.

Can we just pause Sunday and not have Monday happen? We really don’t need to surrender our liberties, securities and democracy on MLK day do we? I mean FFS the guy incited an insurrection and is a traitor to our democracy. Why the TF did people think this guy should be in charge of our country?

True strength is compassion, care, support and the act of helping others to lift them up when they are down. Weakness is using it as a moment to blame others, drive division, and offer no kindness or care for people who have lost everything. CA is hurting right now and my heart aches for them.

The fact Jack Smith’s report got blocked from being released is 1. Bullshit 2. A clear indication there’s some real damning information about Trump in the report (Matt Gaetz 2.0 anyone) 3. The keys to the car for the next temper tantrum throwing presidential candidate to incite an insurrection

And we continue to believe greedy corporate twat-waffles like the orange idiot and ol’ Musky boy are going to take care of the middle class? If your answer is yes, you best share that good shit you’re smoking because I want to live in this state of psychosis too. Especially for the next 4 years…

And for this alone, I will never accept the orange idiot or his puppet master Musk as anything other than traitorous criminals who have no place in our government. If having empathy and concern for others makes me “illogical” then so be it. I believe in lifting others up. I believe in collective success and progress. I believe in humanity, humility and honesty. I set out each day to live be these morals and to leave the earth a little better than I found it.

As a parent, this is a terrifying reality I face every morning when I send my kids to school. With TikTok challenges pushing people to target schools, to threats made directly to our school on more than one occasion, or to watching other families grieve the unimaginable, this keeps me up at night.

I’ll bet $5 Trump tries to overturn the 14th Amendment as part of his day 1 dictator agenda. He already should have been disqualified from running to POTUS under the Privileges & Immunities clause, he openly talks about abolishing the citizenship clause… It’s going to happen. And you’ll owe me $5

It’s not that we can’t afford universal health care. It’s that we can’t afford not to do it. #MedicareForAll We pay the most, but our life expectancy does not reflect it. 🇺🇸 Notably: None of the countries with Universal Health Care have decided to get rid of it.

I’m convinced Trump thinks tariffs are good because, yes, they do bring revenue to the Federal Govt. This is where his understanding ends. He doesn’t even BELIEVE the back half of how they work where the company importing and paying the tariff passes those costs to the consumer. Woefully dumb. 🤦‍♀️

Our health should not be for profit! It’s a damn right, not a privilege. I support universal healthcare - time to put insurance companies who take our money without complaint but deny, deny, deny when we need to tap into those funds to survive! Complete bullshit!

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and I think we may be going about things all wrong. We need to work from bottom up - drive our senators and congress reps insane to where they can’t ignore us. Top down doesn’t work in economics and it doesn’t work in demand for change and action.
