so we still have no idea what’s going on but we’ll keep fighting to figure it out. at this point i think the chance of her loosing her last eye is above 80%. let’s hope it never happens. they gave her a ton of medicines and vitamins and eye drops to reduce the inflammation. let’s hope it works

the ophthalmologist suggested that balka probably has both glaucoma and endogenous uveitis and they counterbalance each other. in the result the pressure in her eye is within the normal range since glaucoma makes the pressure higher and uveitis lowers it. huh

within the next 7 days we’ll receive the results of some of the tests that were done today and in a couple of days the professor from bangkok is going to have a look at her scans and tell us what his thoughts are on the case.

bad news: the procedures cost us over $720; the ophthalmologist and neurologist both said that her case is very difficult to diagnose and suggested several possibilities of what’s going on.
