Of all the cool stuff at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art… THE greatest work of art ever made is in the corner of comics exhibit. Because, of course, if I sold something for $4B, I would buy Bernie Wrightson’s original graphite and ink splash page from Mary Wollstonecraft Shelly’s Frankenstein.

I’m not a huge fan of any movie theater that has food servers delivering hot wings during a movie, but the Drafthouse is resurrecting the CineramaDome and is one of only six theaters showing TEENAGE SEX AND DEATH AT CAMP MIASMA so… they get my support today.

Sam Neill was great in lots of movies, but his performance in The Dish has become a source of comfort for me. The steady calm. The kind understanding. The wise perspective. He puts me at ease when I’m on edge and I will forever be grateful.
