Update on my family in Altadena: The community is restoring itself slowly & surely, my aunt's block included. Most of her neighbors are also choosing to stay and rebuild. The family group chat is frequented with little victories about debris removed, approvals received, inspections passed.

You're right, in the sense that "cookies" are subtype of biscuit which doesn't include Biscoff. They fail to meet the definition of the word "cookie."
