@booker.senate.gov is absolutely killing it. I’ve listened to nearly 2 hours, and this is what representing one’s constituents looks like. Was stoked to hear @padilla.senate.gov after calling his office regularly asking questions on behalf of CA. Love this.

It’s difficult when the previous 15 years of work were directed towards a totally different career. Hard to convince someone I have experience in those worlds when it’s been that long. 🥴

Oh, all jobs are hard to get at the moment. This timeline is trash. I meant I’m working on retraining my brain to suppress the desire to tell someone off for being rude (though I guess that applies to all jobs) and remembering how to carry multiple hot plates.

I’m at the trying-to-hone-my-other-skills (service and retail) part of the hunt, so I feel you. You’re so dang talented. Let me know via DM or linkedin what you’re applying for so I can flag if I know anyone on those crews. (You have a lot of resources via the dumb babies - use them!)
