Swap of damaged hard drive's PCB. Does it work? (my post) For old drives it might, but not for modern drives released in the last 10 years (approx). These HDDs use unique calibration data stored in the PCB's firmware. Replacing the PCB with an identical requires firmware transfer to a new PCB.

The last two months of the year tend to be super-active in terms of demand for Atola forensic hardware imagers. Our Canadian HQ is currently working hard to assemble and package TaskForce 2 systems, as well as more compact TaskForces and Atola Insight Forensic devices.
