Director’s Final Cut is 133 minutes compared to the Theatrical’s 132 minute runtime. Clearly I think the opening go fast boat stuff is not gonna be in the Final Cut. interesting details about the rest. Can’t wait to see

the price is high but for this movie and for me, not the issue. bit disappointing there are 0 new features. happy to have all of the legacy features and all 3 cuts though

To mark the film’s 20th anniversary, the new definitive edition uses elements from both the original theatrical master and Mann’s first director’s cut along with previously unused dailies footage, with fine details adjusted scene by scene to help ensure the new cut looks and sounds better than ever. Fans will also notice changes to the story, with select scenes being refined, a re-ordering of certain scenes, and a significantly recut final act incorporating previously unused footage to reflect Mann’s preferred ending.

The collection is housed in a rigid slipcase and includes three versions of Miami Vice, with the 133-minute director’s final cut and the 132-minute theatrical cut on separate 4K discs with Dolby Vision and separate regular Blu-ray Discs, each with 5.1 and 2.0 master audio.

The fifth disc is a regular Blu-ray with the 139-minute original alternate cut and optional commentary by Mann, and bonus materials including the theatrical trailer, behind-the-scenes looks at gun training, the Mojo race and the Haitian hotel camera blocking, and the featurettes “Miami Vice Under Cover,” “Miami & Beyond: Shooting on Location” and “Visualizing Miami Vice.”

One Night in Bangkok (2025)

A hit man named Kai flies into Bangkok, gets a gun, and orders a cab. He offers a professional female driver big money to be his all-night driver. But when she realizes Kai is committing brutal murders at each stop, it's too late to walk away. Meanwhile, an offbeat police detective races to decode the string of slayings before more blood is spilled.

Seems a lot like Collateral

Letterboxd review by Kyle

I feel like we've lost so much culturally when it comes to the blockbuster after seeing the immense playful creation here. The phrase "we used to get real movies" comes to mind, etc. I'm a retvrn guy for specifically this mode of filmmaking.
