I’ve read The Riders a dozen times since I first discovered it as a battered used paperback in ‘98 or so. Like most of my favorite novels, it’s bewildering that I would connect with a story so utterly apart from my own experience. And yet, and yet. So anyway, this is spectacularly bad casting
