anime of the year right here

FX Senshi Kurumi-chan episode 1 screencap. And so the long awaited forex anime starts and it brings exactly as much quotable content as you'd expect, starting exactly with this perfect frame of girl looking at a candle chart going down and her freaking out and begging god about how she can't lose that money while almost pulling her hair out of her head, and it's so funny because like, initially I thought this was going to be about the stock market or something, but like, forex is somehow so much better because like, girl, with the current state of yen, how does anyone lose money with yen/usd, like, what are you even doing here, and I'm fascinated and excited to see what comes next

sof @mofu.run · 28/09/2026

you understand I absolutely had to, right, like, LOOK AT HER

Picture of a wood stand of a cherry hlossom tree and nahiha sitting on a swing, aimilarly to what you see on her character splash screen, but much prettier because it's irl, and it's a pink tree and there's a dendro symbol and in crying at how gorgeous she is and I'll forever be scared of French artists for making me buy genshin stuff again

sof @mofu.run · 27/09/2026

look at how gorgeous she was today

And yet another picture of machico at the Japan weekend stage, but this time day 2 and she's on an MC moment so the translator is also there with her, and like, she's wearing this absolutely gorgeous blue frilly sheer fit with a yellow top underneath??? absolutely goddess and I'm so happy I got to see her again

sof @mofu.run · 27/09/2026

once again, I'M BEING SO NORMAL RIGHT NOW

you know how things are by now, so here's sof getting another idol autograph in japan weekend, the last for this time because sadly the con is ending soon, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, ITS MACHICO AND I'M CRYING BECAUSE SHE'S SO NICE WND I LOVE HER SO MUCH

sof @mofu.run · 27/09/2026

I'm laughing way more than I should at this

Sign in the Madrid subway that says "selecionar distância objectivo, conectar pato" which you would translate to something like "select objective distance, connect duck" and I have no idea what that's supposed to mean but I can't stop laughing, I have no idea if pato mrans something else in Spanish, but I'll take the Portuguese reading

sof @mofu.run · 27/09/2026

also, hot this for dinner yesterday because it's what girls do after a con

And on today's sof food pic, as post con cintent we go to kagura ramen and get... some kind of teriyaki chicken don?! Basically one of these fancy sets with miso soup, cucumber and then rice with teriyaki chicken on top and egg and tiny bell peppers and other yummy stuff and I cqn confirm it was indeed very yummy! mostly in a day where everything you woke up at 4 am and all you ate before was ao me kind of chocolate pastry and 2 onigiris, lol

sof @mofu.run · 26/09/2026

SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL

Japan Weekend picture of the stage in one side of the metropolitano stage and Machico is sitting there next to the translator during her session right after her concert and I swear I'm being so normal right now, like, help, and I'm absolute mess of how much I jumped and I have no voice, but god, this was so worth it

sof @mofu.run · 26/09/2026

doing my best sheena impression right now, where's my mimi

Picture of two overpriced onigiris, a salmon one and a tuna one, because apparently girls gotta eat something and they didn't have time to get anything from a suoermsrket, and these were one of the few things not outrageously expensive, and easy to carry around, and I won't be able to leave the stage until like 7 pm, so... you know

sof @mofu.run · 26/09/2026

being very normal right now

It's the picture of the signature from a jw artists on that horing white paper, which I guess it's a common thing for me at this point, but this time it's may'n!!! she actually signed merch, but I couldn't aince machico doesn't I really couldn't justify buying something since shipping costs are stupid right now , which is sad because I wish I had a Sheryl album, but it is what it is, and she was super nice and was still really happy, so I'm happy

sof @mofu.run · 26/09/2026

we dual wielding

Picture of two lightsticks light up as pink because what else did you expect from sof, and one of them is the liella one for the previous skeet, and the other is a boring blank one because girls always need to carry one of these around, you never know when you're gonna need to wota or freak out about your oshi or something, so it's an absolute bag essential

sof @mofu.run · 26/09/2026

loot acquired

Picture of the liella lightsticks made by EU love livers, it's gorgeous and you can always count on them for the coolest stuff and I'm really looking forward to use it in a couple hours!!!

girl who clearly comes here just to see the construction work of the south pier expansion

The uduao sof airport picture, but this time instead of being just a bus you see the actual construction work of the extension of the south pier!!! super cool to look at, even if there isn't really much yet
also let's not talk about how this is mostly useless work due to the new airport, except that will airport suck and probably never happen anytime soon, eo maybe not that useless?? either way, pretty cool to look at
also, you fan see some flying buses in the distance, except the all seem like adorable Embraer content to me, so no Airbus pun for you this time, also tap content, so weirdly proud of that because my taxes paid for it, except maybe not for too long I guess??? Anyway, fun times

sof @mofu.run · 25/09/2026

I'm still too rusty to actually play this properly, but doing much better now

Our notes screenshot of sof finishing a random expert song, in this case, it's a 25 that somehow feels way harder than most of the 26's because it's flick hell, so it was pretty hard for me until I stopped being stupid and realized you can flick in any direction, so yeah
also, don't mind my nyamu ssr center, I just pressed the auto button, because imagine actually caring about gacha and cards, couldn't be me

sof @mofu.run · 23/09/2026

mimi knows the things that truly matter

Kimishinu episode 12 screencap of Mimi being an adorable dork and telling Sheena everything she loves about her and what's she good her, and that includes how she knows everything everything flowers, and then......... how she feels so cozy when they're in bed together??? you know, the kind of things roommates do, just that, obviously

sof @mofu.run · 20/09/2026

is this how girls flirt with each other nowadays

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance episode 12 screencap of the kind of nanoha content you'd expect of Towa and Shiina looking at each other in a questionable burning rainbow background, and Towa starts going on about how pretty her and her sister's flames are, and like, I guess when you're underground there's no moon visible, nor sun, so that might be the next best thing? girl is her sun, after all, so... you know

sof @mofu.run · 14/09/2026

> retrieve soup from the pan

Have you missed sof's picture of soup?! because you bet you sure are getting one right now!!! In this house we don't care how hot it is outside, if it's soup day, the soup shall happen!!! Apparently the edgeless soldiers are all oretty weak and all of them appeared to flee today, probably to the beach or something, I heard they like balls there? the big edgy kid is around too, in his mighty power, showing who's the boss around all his small brothers... wait, when did this turn into yaoi
...unsure,but honestly not complaining, fujo sof would probably be happy about it, if she was real or something, but thankful she isn't, so instead you'll have to taste this delicious chickpea pumpkin carrot soup, the autumn flavor!!! don't @ me saying it's not autumn yet, I'll do anything to get this hell summer away from here!!!

sof @mofu.run · 04/09/2026

doing this as a non native english speaker who has never been in any english speaking country was... an interesting experience

Sof does the English speaking test all the cool kids are doing and it says... she speaks English like people from NY, LA, and SF?! probably not surprising given my English was fully formed by the internet and popular culture, but it's kinda funny qhen you consider my friends say I have an extremely heavy accent and I'm still very self conscious about it, like, help
(I'll still talk with cute girls too, just don't make fun of me!!!)

looking at tags on ciao and I'm like, yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what it means

screenshot of the GL tag on ciao, with a（ガールズライフ）right after it which is extremely accurate because you know we're all here to see the life of girls who are very good friends, right

sof @mofu.run · 28/08/2026

the purest smile 🩷

Sof has a Miyako moment and loses her mind seeing Viola smile, because what else do you expect a lesbian to do when she sees a pretty girl smiling!!! going all puppy girl mode and all?! maybe not, because I'm a cat, but close enough, perhaps even the coochie emoji??? I wouldn't draw fanart too, not only because I can't draw, but also because I'm not that deep into the yumeship hole, I hope
Anyway, point is, she's wonderful and needs to be protected at all costs, something something, viola did nothing wrong
Yumemita episode 11 screencap btw, or something like that, etc, etc, gay, gay, lesbianism

sof @mofu.run · 27/08/2026

they're going to be the end of me

All works maid episode 10 screencap of yet another scene where Luciana glomps Melody, because what would even be the point of this anime without maid gay content, like, you can't have maid without gay, just like you can't have melody without kuro-tleberg? but yeah, this time it's somehow gayer than usual because she specifically asks her to war her up with her soft skin or yours, which is like, the most yuri coded thing you can say? as long as there isn't any moon nearby, which I think there isn't in this case, but who knows, really

sof @mofu.run · 23/08/2026

screenshot of my terminal showing 52 freed gb after running a collect garbage with 20 gb of hard links, no biggie, just usual nixos stuff

sof @mofu.run · 22/08/2026

Image of a questionable looking girl with some roman empire nonsense written on her chest, I would even dare to say it almost looks like a jail cell?! maybe a jail full of fancy italian cars, or something like that, so hm... I wonder who she could be.........

sof @mofu.run · 21/08/2026

normal cat things

Yumemita episode 10 screencap of Nono liking Ritsu's hand, for... some reason? don't ask me why because I really don't know, it's just nono doing nono things, and that's exactly what you should expect at this point, like, bandori has puppy girls, so you wouldn't be surprised with it also having cat girls, right!!! also probably not surprising the age regressor is the cat, you know how it is

sof @mofu.run · 20/08/2026

bsky being an exception to the normal login flow will always haunt and bother me

screenshot of sof messing up with the new buckets (spaces, I guess :() toy, and loggin in bsky, the test bulletin board, and pdsls, and then checking the pds dashboard, and realizing only pdsls and the bulletin show up there, like, evil.........
actually cool bulletin already shows up there too, I wonder if it needed extra support, or if it's the exact usual flow we're used to

sof @mofu.run · 20/08/2026

GAY BUNNY

All works maid episode 9 screencap of bunny mode Luciana once again being a needy baby, but now also possessive and threatening pretty much anyone who dares to even get close to her Melody, because nobody is ever allowed to get between a girl and her maid, that's like, a fundamental theorem of the universe and everyone should know it!!!

Continuation of the previous screencap, but Luciana keeps going more and more into the darker side, and now she's specifically talking about the red knight dude and how she would tear him limb from limb if he ever gets close to her, and, well...... dude should probably be careful, you don't mess with bunny girls

sof @mofu.run · 18/08/2026

why are they so far apart, did they fight or something

Picture of the sky™, still kinda blue but not much since this is just after sunset, except the picture is darker than it actually is irl because otherwise it looked weird, but don't worry too much about it, my pictures are as bad as usual, but the point is, you have a crescent moon on one side and venus on the other side, and they're both shinning a lot because that's how lesbians are, but they're going into no homo mode and shoving each other away and I really hope they make up soon because sof needs her yuris.........

sof @mofu.run · 16/08/2026

get yourself a girl who looks at you the same way Ouka looks as Mizuka

Himawari Circus episode 7 screencap of Mizuka and Ouka sitting together on the circus bus after Mizuki getting some sense shoved into her head, and now she's being a brat and pouting while resting her head on the window, and Ouka is just there, just looking at her, and smilling in a way that only lesbians know how to when they look at someone they want to hold hands with, or something like that

sof @mofu.run · 15/08/2026

this list is extremely specific in a very american way, but here we go

Sof does the picky eat test and gets... well, I guess I'm not a picky eater? who would've guessed, right?! not that this list is very extensive, or as many details, and I think I would prefer a ranking from 0 to 5 or something because things are not very binary and a 3 rank style like this is painful to work with
but anyway, lets go to business, I guess?
right out of the bat, the only thing I marked as don't like is coffee, which, lol, the sof signature move
then, well, things I mark as kinda are? white chocolate, raisins, prunes and dried fruits, except here at least dried fruits usually encompasses both dehydrated fruits as well as nuts, and like, I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE NUTS A LOT, so please don't shove them in this category!!! but yeah, dehydrated or candied fruits as mid and I'll eat them if I have to, but please avoid shoving them in front of my face!!! white chocolate I shouldn't have to explain, I'll eat like a square, but more than that and I would probably pass out from sugar overdose or something
then there's a the never had category, which I guess shows I've clearly never been in the US, because what the hell are grits!!! and what's ranch dressing and why do you all keep talking about it!!!I also never tried blue cheese, but that's just lack of opportunity and I'm sure I would like it

sof @mofu.run · 14/08/2026

Picture of sof's hands touching grass, this is right next to the canon ocean we saw before, so you can be sure it's not fiction!! nonfiction, even
I would take a picture with the ocean in the background, but there's a wall here so it's hard to frame it and I'm lazy, but you bet the fishies are right there!!!
also, I'm bonking you until the end of time if you zoom in and start analyzing things you shouldn't

sof @mofu.run · 14/08/2026

wait a minute, this is not grass??

Picture of what's supposed to be sof touching grass? except there's no sof in the picture, nor grass? all you see is a bunch of questionable rock formations, shielding whatever place I'm in from the ocean, and a hidden sun somewhere behind a bunch of thick looking clouds, and I'm so thankful to them for saving me from the devil, and oh, also there's UM GANDA CANHÃO in the corner of the picture, and i guess this might have or might have not been used to commit crimes a bunch of years ago? also no, not the kind of canhão you're thinking about, except there's also definitely some of that around here as hell since you can't walk a minute without seeing a tourist smoking something questionable
not in the picture: um vendaval do caralho

sof @mofu.run · 09/08/2026

they sure look like very good friends

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance episode 6 screencap of Shiina being gay with her very good friend now that she can't do it with her sister, and petting her while hugging her like a puppy, as said puppygirl looks at her like someone using the coochie emoji, but they're using it like 3 times, and it's just a clue, but I think girl might be a little gay? just maybe? but it's fine, we're just one episode away from them presumably throwing hands at each other before nanoha showing up and nuking them while begging for them to talk with each other, and ngl, I can't wait for it

sof @mofu.run · 06/08/2026

LOSING MY MIND

Continuation of the previous screencap of ganso bandori 39, but this time we're back to... episode 36? when you had saki doning some sort of weird quizz abpit past ganso episodes??? AND THEN THEY JUST SHOVES ARALE ON THE SCREEN SCREAMING AT HER MEGAPHONE WHILE SAKI IS IN POKER FACE MODE??? IDK WHAT'S HAPPENING, BUT I'M LOSING MY MIND

sof @mofu.run · 06/08/2026

this might actually be the funniest ganso frame

Ganso bandori episode 39 screencap of yumemita showing up and apparently breaking the timeline by inserting themselves into every single previous episode? with the funniest consequences you can think of??? they should totally do this for all the pico seasons next, that would be even funnier
but yeah, in this frame in specific, we're back to episode 25 when ako hypnotises sayo and then asks her to levitate, and you get the tsugu scream, BUT FOR SOME REASON, NOW THEY REPLACED SAYO WITH NONO??? AND NONO IS JUST DOING NONO THINGS AND SMILLING WHILE LEVITATING???

sof @mofu.run · 03/08/2026

update 2: let's not talk about how different this is compared to what I intended to do, but I guess it somehow ended up looking pretty decent?!

Picture of a very questionable rusty looking bread sitting on a plate while it cools down on my kitchen bench, and... well, it was made with baking powder? and yeast, I guess??
the shape actually looks pretty somehow? let's pretend it was intentional and not a result of me fighting the dough while trying to shape this into baguettes and ended up giving up and ended with a single blob that had to be fermented a second time because I'm stupid and have no idea what I'm doing and killed all the trapped air inside
...like,thid was supposed to be an easy bread? idk how I messed up so much, so I guess maybe baking really isn't for me, lol
with that said, I'm pretty happy with it at least turning out somewhat goos, I guess? please don't be mean, it's my first bread ever and it was the most terrifying experience of my life, so bear with me here

sof @mofu.run · 02/08/2026

JKGHDFKJGHDKJFHGKJDHFG, HERE WE GO

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance episode 5 screencap, and yes I need to write the whole title because what's even the point of something being called EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance is you don't say it!!! it's almost the same as calling llsifacwwhm just sifac instead of Love Live School Idol Festival after school ACTIVITY Wai Wai Home Meeting, like, they worked so hard on the name a girl has to use it!!! anyway, this is just a simple scene of nanoha doing what nanoha does best and telling a girl she just wants to talk with her right after using divine shooter against her because it's probably still too early for buster, but you know girl will absolutely get nuked at some point in the near future

sof @mofu.run · 30/07/2026

I love them so much

All works maid episode 6 screencap of Luciana being a grumpy needy baby and pretty much ordering Melody to let her embrace her after giving her a huge hug out of nowhere, because girl is gay as hell and absolutely can't live without her maid and I might be melting here with how adorable these two are and I never wished I was a dog as much as while watching this episode and don't worry about it if you have no idea what I'm talking about

sof @mofu.run · 29/07/2026

everything reminds me of her

Picture of a bunch of pears sitting on a kitchen table and it just so happens that one of the huge pears facing the camera has a very...... peculiar shape, let's say, like, imagine if a peach was a pear, and had a very round figure, and a questionable hole in the middle, and... uh, maybe let's not get there
Also funny thing, I'm almost sure that's a bug hole and there's something inside, but that's fine and I'll probably figure out soon anyway, because I'm so ready for my delicious meal and we're not wasting anyway, so itadakimasu
Also, please don't ask me who is her, I beg you, because like, it should be known I'm a loser and there's no her and I'm just saying this for the joke, so please let's not talk about it unless you happen to want to be her, but maybe without the leaving part

sof @mofu.run · 25/07/2026

darude sandstorm approved

Picture of the pozza I just ate because as usual, imagine posting a picture before eating it, like, who do you think I am!!! it has ham, olives and mushies so it's like, perfect and I'm glad I picked this one because it was super yummy! you can also see a fancy drink glass in the corner because like, while I usually don't pick fancy drinks, if I go somewhere and see virgin pinna colada in the menu, there's no way I'm not getting it, mostly in a warm summer day, like, it's the perfect refreshing drink and it's so hard to find it without alcohol, so it makes sof so happy...... but yeah, darude sandstorm was still playing while I started eating and it was the funniest thing

sof @mofu.run · 22/07/2026

yeah, they sure look like very good friends

Cropped screenshot of my jellyfin showing the next episode of kimishinu on the next up section, and it just so happens to be the episode released today, episode 3, and apparently the title of the episode is "Friends", and the thumbnail is... well, sheena and mimi looking at each other as if they're very, very, very good friends? you know, exactly what you would expect from such anime

sof @mofu.run · 21/07/2026

religious botan just dropped

Buchigire Reijou episode 3 screencap. Imagine if botan was a nun, and... slightly more blood thirsty, I guess? and I mean, blood as in murder, not into Ibuki's blood, which I'm sure this nun might be as well because at this point I'm sure she's gay as well too, but, you know, she's also blonde, which I guess Botan was initially supposed to be too before they turned her hair pink in the anime for whatever reason? absolutely incredible choice, btw
anyway, this anime is incredibly random, but it's Villainess nonsense, and she's extremely overpowered, so it has everything I a girl could be here for, and at this point grimore girl is hanging out at a tavern with her incresingly harem which now contains this nun, and said nun is getting drunk and talking about how alcohol is the water of life given to us by God, which I'm sure it's something many people out there would agree with

sof @mofu.run · 19/07/2026

OF COURSE THEY'RE SELLING IT AS ACTUAL PERFUME

Ad banner from the bandai shop advertising the new pretty holic product: top of lily fragrance, which comes in a bottle that looks like cure eclai's henshin item, which is like a blue butterfly with a white lily in the center? or something like that!!! point is, eclair is clearly advertising the thing and there's a lot of yuri going on, and this thing was pretty much done for me, crying

sof @mofu.run · 19/07/2026

I keep saying this

Meitantei Precure episode 25 screencap of flashbacks happening and showing a young precious Ruruka calling Top of Lily to also a younger Eclair while looking at her with the gayest smile you can think of, because there's just one thing in the world this girl loves more than ice cream and she clearly would do anything for such gorgeous Lily and I might be crying here, like, why are they so good

sof @mofu.run · 19/07/2026

LINE DROPPED

夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！夢はパワ！！right on the 4th page of the kululu manga, because of course arale has an impectable taste, and also it's funny because kululu in her civilian form kinda looks a little bit like ichika and it's obvious this is inspired by precure, but it might be specifically kirakira?! I have no idea, point is, girl hyas taste and bandori is incredible

sof @mofu.run · 17/07/2026

where can a girl sign up for the Viola headpats, asking for a friend

Yumemita episode 5 screencap of Viola being the cutest bandori girl ever and petting Ritzu while calling her a good girl, because what else would you expect of the best character this series ever released, right :3

sof @mofu.run · 16/07/2026

WHY ARE THEY SO GOOD

All works maid episode 4 screencap. You know you're doing things right when you make a guy fall in love at first sight, but it's alsso so plain obvious you're so gay you would never like him back, so instead of running after you he decides to protect you and how gay you are, and that's the perfect description of how powerful this anime is, and Melody is clearly the most powerful maid in the universe, both figuratively and literally and there's this point in this ep where she's dancing with Luciana in the ball and they pretty much steal the attention of everyone there because I mean, who would be able to look away when you see a fairy dancing with an angel, right!!! I know I sure wouldn't

Continuation of the previous screencap, but now it's a closeup of them looking at each other in an extremely homosexual way while dancing, because what else do you expect lesbians to do when they're together!!! maids really be like that, and this might be the best show ever, really

sof @mofu.run · 15/07/2026

normal things girls do before even knowing each others names

TaiAri episode 2 screencap. Where do I even get started about this anime, like... uh... well, I guess a bit ago Ren mentioned they managed to make street fighter look gayer than gay sex, and that's actually the perfect description because that's exactly what's going on here? think about rock lady, but here they're making out in bed while playing illegally fighting games or something like that and I'm extremely into it, and this episode is funny because apparently one of the girls didn't even know the name of the other girl? like, two whole episodes later?? or at least there was an official introduction, so you know it's the real deal when they do that after this scene where they were looking at each other in bed in extremely fruity ways, and... uh, this sure will surely be interesting

sof @mofu.run · 12/07/2026

they sure are besties!

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance episode 2 screencap, and... god, it feels absolutely ridiculous writing that whole title, but we're talking about nanoha here, so it shouldn't be surprising and I'm just glad the anime is back, really! So, well, at some point Nanoha goes to a new planet go to white devil things, and she bumps into this girl with sister issues called Shiina who made me cry on the first episode because that's just the nature of sisterss and how weak I am for them, and shortly after Fate shows up, and of course we have the obviously nanofate moment of nanoha hugging fate and introducing her as her best friend because what's even the point of life if you don't have your bestie by your side, right, who would even be nuking at that point, who would you be raising space jesus with, who would you share a bed in space suburbs with, who would you share a suv airplane with to go watch your daughter's wrestling match with, what would be an 8 and a 10 if there wasn't a number somewhere in between and many other such questions you would never get to answer if this super special eroge in the 90's didn't exist and I absolutely owe my life to it

sof @mofu.run · 11/07/2026

I guess it's my turn

Picture of the amazing meal I had for lunch, and please don't ask why I'm posting lunch at dinner time, girls just be like that, and also please avoid this place, because while the food looked pretty and it was really good, the service was bad enough for me to consider leaving a negative review, which is something I never do, so you know it was that bad, lol
it also sucks a little because this place replaced the restaurant that previously had my favorite ramen, but I guess it's what it is, but yeah, so what do we have here? I honestly don't even fully know because I couldn't pick and I panicked and I asked for a menu? there's a pretty yummy salad with extra tomato because apparently my fwends are tomato phobic and don't eat it so they gave me all of theirs, which I'm not complaining because I'll take all the tomato I can, and then there's a delicious looking gyudon bowl and I swear it was as delicious as it looks, and there's also some kind of pickles on the side, which were a blessing with it? and then some kind of tofu soup? and then there was this other tofu thing they instead of the thing the set was supposed to have and that would be fine expect they didn't tell me and it was the thing I was looking forward the most and that was pretty sad, lol? I probably would've asked for something else if they told me beforehand, but yeah
point is, 10/10,very yummy, wouldn't come back nor recommend o

sof @mofu.run · 10/07/2026

I can fix her

Bandori yumemita episode 3 screencap of Viola smiling at Ritsu in the most ominous way possible and maybe that's making me weak for her because maybe I'm stupid or something, but... you can pretend I never said that, or something
