Gaffing Stockys take from the fear of clowns, which were some sort of professionals in becoming the laughing stock of an event. This is how they got part of their name; the gaffing part comes from how their seemingly harmless props can transform into deadly weapons mid-swing thanks to their Psychos Alignment. They use this power to project true pain and injury upon their victims, when in truth it’s all perceived. But this is simply how Psychos functions. It doesn’t matter how false it looks to others; if YOU think you’re dead, then you are dead for good!
Compared to other Abominations, Gaffing Stockys have slightly more clear origins… it is possible these Abominations are actually possessive, gaining control of any poor host that falls within the true Abomination’s path. It is unknown what the parasite looks like if this theory is true. Some speculate that it is the hat, which assumes the spirally shape of a prion, and thus causing this “disease” to turn the host into a psychotic clown. The ruff would be the next suspect with its eyes that seem to have a mind of their own… And regarding minds, Gaffing Stockys seem to believe that they’re spreading laughter and joy with their powerful weapons that could be star shaped balloon sculptures that become throwing stars, sword balloons that become sharp and deadly, bowling pins that turn into molotov cocktails, huge squeaky hammers that become axes, giant rolling balloon balls that actually have pointy spikes, and so on. In their eyes, nothing is wrong, and life is sunshine and rainbows. Give them a reality check! You ought watch out for the ray gun balloon they may have, though. It’ll turn you into a balloon figure, and I’m sure you understand how delicate balloons are!

An Abomination that brings brutal closure to others’ lives to support its own. One would assume this is simply preying on others, but this ghost goes one step farther, stealing and possessing the heads and limbs of its victims. A Cluster Clochan’s body only consists of a torso with extended nerves(through which it assumes control of the heads and limbs it has claimed as its own), a dress of said nerves, and a floating cloche that always casts a dark shadow over where its head would be. This Abomination takes from the variety of fictitious beings, the dullahan. It is said that they cannot actually make use of the heads they sever with their large dual scythe, mostly using them to plug into their neck and spine, which gives the possessed head a warped face.
Along with their scythe, these Abominations will of course take advantage of unique limbs they can get their torso on, which is why they are actually biased to attack other Abominations more often than humans, since humans almost never have special powers within their limbs… but that doesn’t mean they’re not on the menu! If you happen to find yourself on its menu, aim for the torso if you can! If the hands and legs it possesses are too much to handle, cut the nerves off to disturb the Cluster Clochan’s control! Otherwise, you’ll find your head handed to you on one of its many platters!

My character Buighebi! She's hugging her tail in a small burrow to cope with the stress of her situation, after having outran and successfully fending off a predator. The "trophy" of her kill is the orb she's staring at with tears in her eyes. It has some sparkly things around it; I wonder what those are? I'll get to that!

A Fleetliner! She's an Abomination that takes after two different superstitions on black cats. Primarily, she takes after the superstition that black cats are actually *good* luck on ships, especially if they have polydactyly(extra digits). This is because its thought that larger paws allow them to more easily kill rats that climb aboard and spread disease or eat out food.

Anyhoo proper lore time! Fleetliners line the lands and seas of Ratumn. Despite the usual belief that cats dislike water, this feline Abomination actually loves it! In fact, if you don't see them onboard a ship or swimming, consider yourself in danger, they're actually hostile on land! They're quite dangerous too with their extra claws, plus radioactivity present in their bodies, with the bell on their collar clattering around and sometimes flashing if the small screwdriver gets released. Like many cats, these freaks are fast too! It doesn't help that they have squalls of wind and water around them, plus a sail on their tail to let them speed up quickly. That water is also radioactive of course, why wouldn't it be? One more nail in your coffin is that their whiskers are super sensitive, especially with the huge atoms on the ends of them, so sneaking up close on one is pretty much impossible! But interestingly, if you walk parallel behind one, it is much less aggressive, so if you're not *literally* crossing its path then you might be able to save yourself! Sometimes, a Fleetliner on land is referred to as a "Flee-liner," since it's best to flee, but in truth it's best to walk parallel with one, if you can.

That aside, they make great assets on your ship! Those whiskers and ears can sense the upcoming weather too! These Abominations will sneeze more frequently when rain is coming, groom themselves more frequently when hail is coming, and start ZOOMING if wind is coming. Compared to Harmonie, their sense for predicting the weather is about 5 times more accurate

KETTLESONFIRE's OC, Gamura Bat! She's literally *hanging* out with an upside down cave background. The colors are light and vibrant, with Gamura making a peace sign with one hand and curling up a fist near her shoulder with the other hand, blowing a kiss. A bear trap clamps her to a stalactite(remember, the BG is upside down!), which have stripes and sparkles on them, along with stars and hearts. A small waterfall flows into a body of water, with the reflections of the ripples projecting onto the walls of the cave.

Bio Witches are the twisted nurses of those that practice witchcraft, while also causing more disease than they cure. Four-armed with fuming, deadly chemicals at their disposal, these witches are strong killers that also turn their prey into bioweapons. In addition to stealing the lifeforce of whatever she stabs with her large beach umbrella, she mixes it with certain chemicals to create a toxic blood mixture. The inside of the canopy also acts as a cauldron for her to mix these chemicals in, to then fling en masse. Additionally, they will preserve pathogens to weaponize later, facilitated by their glasses that magnify harmful bacteria and viruses.
These witches have a constant fight against apoptosis that's gone out of control, which renders some of their limbs missing(as with the bony forearm and peg leg). Should they fail to sustain themselves, the chemicals powering them will eat away at their body. Bio witches are unique in that they create tonics that can help treat the injuries of other types of witches as well. These are usually administered aggressively, but effectively too! Most varieties of Bio Witches are no nonsensed, but you might come across the occassional exception...like Ms. Match

Old lore for giggles! It's not all that different actually...

All glacier witches have slush blood, which freezes altogether around their hands and feet, resulting in them turning purple, though they retain control over them, and there's no danger of them falling off. Their bodies are constantly flushed from their blood as well. The skin on their feet is tough and easily regenerates, allowing them to ice skate on any hard, level surfaces. Additionally, their slush blood numbs their pain nerves substantially, but it also makes their sense of smell quite poor, and it is possible for their blood to melt. Their hearts pump extra strong since it's forced to deal with half frozen blood, so should too much of their blood turn liquid, the heart pumps too much blood per beat and can lead to death through heart failure. They drink liquid nitrogen in the same way humans drink water, always carrying a flask of it around. They possess good physical strength, and often attack by transforming their umbrella, which is broken and frozen shut permanently, into a variety of melee weapons. The ice axes on it can drain life force, but as a class of lesser witches, they may also choose to eat food to regain energy, as they retain more of their humanity as opposed to the other 4 greater witch types. They only wear two roses and one horn headband as a symbol of their lower class.

The other variety of lesser witch, Glacier Witches are aligned with the element of cold, Glacios. Capable of wielding it in mists and liquid form, Glacier Witches are most fond of using it on their umbrella, which is permanently frozen shut, and turning it into a different weapon with ice. The boa they wear can also be frozen into a spiky column, as you see around her chest here. They tend to embrace heavier weapons when forming one, like axes or large spears, but if they need energy, they may just use the ice axes that already come on the umbrella to drain energy. But as lesser witches, again, they can eat food to recover, since they retain more humanity as a lesser witch. Additionally, they drink liquid nitrogen more often than water, commonly carrying a flask of it around
That being said, their body is EXTREMELY different than your dime-a-dozen human. For one, their blood is slushy, which results in their digits being frostbitten and their skin flushed. The skin on their feet regenerates very quickly, allowing them to skate on their bare feet on any smooth surface, without harm. The frozen body parts also act as some sort of muscle reinforcement, giving these witches a fair share of physical prowess…at the cost of numbness. The heart of a Glacier Witch has very powerful pumps to allow blood flow of their slush.
Since their blood is partly frozen, they need to be careful! If their blood becomes too liquid, their heart will start pumping too much blood, and then promptly fail… so Combustos can off ‘em good! And fun fact, their sense of smell is also poor since their body temperature is so low, so if you sneakily have poison gas around, they would be none the wiser!… Given, that *is* a very specific weak spot to target so that’s not usually the first choice for one!

Ditto! Except this version doesn't have the veil covering her hips!

Storm Witches are lesser witches than retain more of their humanity than the 4 types of greater witches(Carbon, Atomic, Bio, and Psychic). Nonetheless, their powers are all but human. Their bodies contain static in excess, resulting in their hair spreading about in every direction as you see. This, in combination with their electrically charged and magnetic umbrella proves a decent force for one to reckon with. Arcs of lightning can drop their enemies to submission, and with their monocle, they can see magnetic fields and act accordingly around them. The umbrella has an electromagnet built in, which allows them to launch magnetic objects with ease. Aside from that, their powers are relatively simple. Despite the name, they can only control electricity, not wind or rain or anything. The monocle has an added defense mechanic of preventing a Storm Witch from being dazzled... in one eye, at least. As a lesser witch, they can eat actual food as opposed to being forced to steal life from other beings and having to put up with debilitating side effects of a forced alignment. But that's as far as special goes! Stronger magnetic fields can disrupt their umbrella, which, by the way, it doesn't have a canopy, so it's got no defensive capabilities on its own! Bonus points if your weapon is nonmagnetic or an insulator of electricity! Glacios makes a good insulator by the by! Dare I say that entire element can shut down Electros!

A scrapped drawing, and its actually the first one that I've decided to scrap! I can see what went wrong; the design has stuff going on, but none of it really screams "oh this is a STRONG Abomination" to me. Like it's too human, and the design of the clothing and all that doesn't save it for me.
Anyhoo, it has a part of its skin that can be zipped up, wearing a white labcoat and random machinations related to sewing. It also has scars over its body and one eye that looks different than the other. It wears a large rubber glove with a very bunched up wrist piece. One of its feet is a serger machine foot, with a syringe in the middle

Carbon Witch revamped! I fixed my old big head mode syndrome by making her more plus sized this time. No more spider motif either; I was gonna do something with the witches using spiders to communicate, but that didn't catch on. I like this one! #art #digitalart #artsky #oc #ocsky

Carbon Witches excel in pyrokinesis, representing the orange rose on their silver tiara. These witches patrol areas of interest to the Mother Witch, which is often extremely hot areas high in space weather activity. Being the only witch aside the Mother Witch herself to resist high temperatures, you'll see them doing whatever mysterious missions Miss Mother sent them on, commonly in Oe.
Better yet, these witches *need* to operate at high temperatures; their skin is half burning charcoal! The kimono a Carbon Witch wears is designed to be extremely insulative, keeping the heat close to her body. A Carbon Witch that gets too cold will have trouble moving around, and her flames will be weaker. They must retain their body heat in these areas, or by draining the life force of living beings with the tip of their parasol, styled like a fire poker. Their flames are quite strong when she's healthy! Carbon Witches can channel fire through their skin; useful for attack, but especially useful for flight! Yup, these gals can fly, hot air balloon style! She just needs to keep a steady flame under her parasol and she's got all the lift she needs, even with her larger body! Also, the strongest attacks come from their flaming parasol. She can dish out huge waves of fire with a swing of it, so be advised!
As for her weaknesses, she primarily uses Combustos in the form of fire, so anything that kills fire, try it out! Also, her burning skin is basically charcoal, which I'm sure you know how brittle that stuff is right? She may try to keep her distance because of this though

The Martial Elements are powers that lie present on Bearth. They have existed on it ever since the planet was forged out of molten mass long ago, and empower some beings on Bearth. Despite being called Martial Elements, these powers are not necessarily only for offense. There are 7 in total, but only 6 can be found on the planet itself.

Glacios is the power of the cold, capable of arresting the movements of things. This element can manifest spectacles of ice that can be used in combat, or simply cold substances
Though it is generally weak at first, Glacios can quickly pick up on the damage it causes with continued exposure.

Oh yeah, Electros! It encompasses all manner of electricity, coming in only plasmatic forms. Decently strong on its own, and even more powerful in the right conditions.
These conditions most often reflect on polarity. If one uses a positive charged attack on something that is negatively charged, it does extra damage!

Chemos is the power of chemicals! This includes the simple, life sustaining things from water, all the way up to toxic substances like acids, bases, poisons, viruses, and more!
It reacts sometimes with other elements, so creativity with this element can spell disaster! Makes a potent carcinogen

Combustos covers all forms of heat. Perhaps the simplest Element, it provides warmth...in excess!
The brute of the elements, it is a simple, yet strong power

Nucleos is like a more complex version of that! It covers atomic decay, and it'll decay your atoms just as easily! Though mostly bringing death, we would not exist without the great potential energy it provides!
It deals great damage over time, and is the most potent carcinogen

A witch with the power of Nucleos on her side, Atomic Witches make a great asset to the Mother Witch. Commonly seen where demolition is called for, Atomic Witches are collateral killers! The freaks have a deliquescing umbrella that can suddenly generate flashes and blasts of nuclear power. Whether a flash becomes a blast depends on the state of the witch’s health and age. In regards to their age, Atomic Witches are constantly fighting a case of accelerated aging; they must drain the life force of other animals, including humans, to reverse the effects and prolong their life. Should they fail to keep up, the witch will turn into a vegetable, with their body soon to succumb to the brain’s death. The Mother Witch makes no effort to preserve them upon brain death, considering it a waste of resources…
These witches are generally soft spoken and don’t often offer much to say outside of formalities and anyone that isn’t assigned as their witch sister. If you find yourself at arms with one, take advantage of their weak umbrella; it breaks easily, but you’ll also want to mind the liquids on it. That’s black rain, and it’ll radiate ya and then some! And of course, with anything that uses Nucleos, there’s the risk of cancer so uh, have that cure ready. Nucleos Antibodies will be a must!

Being the older sister of Spinner T. Spod(who owns the service), Rottin(pronounced with a soft T sound) handles a different side of P.I.S.T., more involved in deliveries and higher end vehicles that can actually fit her tall stature… And they don’t go at mach speed. Hence why her drives are far more relaxing and for tourism rather than anything else. These rides can be flashy and all, sometimes paired with some amenities.
Unlike Spinner T., her rides are not free of charge though; her interest in vehicles is...much more socially acceptable than Spinner's. A compliment doesn't mean the world to her. Her clothes as you see here is her typical outing wear. If she's driving she'll wear shoes with flatter soles of course. Rottin prefers heels with socks as well. And it looks like weird bottoms run in the family as well; she's got that bus seat situation with her leggings.
When not in service, Rottin likes to take in the scenes of Bearth on her touring motorcycle. Though the planet may be overrun by space weather and Abominations, life still brings beauty to it! She knows when and where it's peaceful, so she largely doesn't have to worry about defending herself on her tourism.
She thinks her brother is pretty annoying at times, but in the end she smiles and nods; he's got a passion, and Rottin doesn't want to crush a dream. If only he'd stop blasting the music though. Rottin prefers the more chill tunes of R&B and such. In the end though, they get along!

Endemic to Qiwaki, Eclipsolypses are considered one of the most frightening and dangerous Abominations. They are man eaters, so they actively hunt humans and other larger mammals like lipones and moose with their omni-elemental abilities. Eclipsolypses each possess 4 orbs(also called Eclipse Ellipses) containing high concentrations of Martial elements inside of them. They wield two at a time, rolling around on the other two with their feet, which learn great balance as they grow. Aside from the otherworldly element Cosmos, these Abominations can possess any 6 of the Martial elements, so they can be quite versatile in combat. Their hibiscus flower also has restorative properties, absorbing magic from being grown during a solar eclipse.
They have claimed many a human’s life; their sharp teeth are adapted to tear human flesh and skin furry species, to make their meals fast. To add to their danger, every time the moons Raflayya or Tassolon causes a solar eclipse, these creatures go BERSERK. They often create stampedes of bloodshed as these eclipses make them EVEN STRONGER than they already were. When the eclipse subsides, they can’t even remember what they were doing, or if they were eating someone… but as for lunar eclipses, they seem to simply get distracted and confused, staring at one of the moons turn orange and wondering why they have a rage-shaped hole in their heart. It is impractical to wait for this in order to attack; lunar eclipses are more common than solar ones, but you’d still be waiting for a not all that common occurrence.
Lipones have developed an adaptation against them and other predators, thanks to Buighebi! The paws of the lipone are spongy and bouncy, and if one were to dropkick an Eclipsolypse, they will get sent flying! This doesn’t hurt in itself, but Buighebi discovered its use after dropkicking an Eclipsolypse off a tall plateau, having gravity kill it instead. Seeing as how parts of Qiwaki have a lot of sudden cliffs, it’s a viable strategy!

More so surviving than living on the rather desolate lands of Ratumn, Miriam has essentially been bitter her entire life. She often takes out her frustrations on any Abominations that don’t take well to her heavy weaponry, though that lifestyle is taking its toll on her. As such, she’s been looking for a viable way out of the country, but for some reason, she prefers to go it alone. Might take some convincing…

- She actually hates smoking; but she needs to smoke that cig whenever she shoots
- Sometimes her dreads are tied back as you can see! She lets them down every now and again though
- She wears red and dark clothes mainly because it’s easier to hide bloodstains

Heat!! Surely you noticed her trusty rifle the “Hot Shoulder!” Miriam may be a cold person, but her war certainly isn’t! The Hot Shoulder is a powerful rifle that uses Nucleos to fire a conical flash of radiation along with her bullets! But it’s also far too powerful for a human to be using, so it harms Miriam to shoot an atomic round. The absorptive cig only protects her so much too…plus it’s a cig, so it’s still bad! If it’s overkill, she can fire a regular shot too. She also has a basic club made from a woody rose stem, dubbed Ugly Rose because of its thorns. But Miriam truly shines in her kick! She can snap one out in an instant and it’s NASTY! This is the only reason she wears heels, really. Lined with metal too? Pff, you’re outta here! So here’s the rundown on your way to the next page!

Though they are called mermaids, Cetaceous Mermaids are actually Abominations, not true mermaids. True mermaids have beaks and well-developed, webbed hands, and some extent of toxicity. These mermaids, based off of whales, have teeth instead of a beak, stubby hands, and are neither poisonous nor venomous. As of yet, no true mermaid has been documented with cetacean features either. But being an Abomination, these ones got large tails with jagged flukes, a melon that extends to the sides of the head, blubber, and a tusk extending from their forehead. Her nose acts as a blowhole, despite its small size in comparison to the rest of the body, which, on average, is three times larger than a Deep Sea Mermaid! So yeah these whales unsurprisingly get pretty big, at around 21 feet(6.4 meters) long! These Abominations are actually in harmony with the environment due to this size; they become proper whale falls when they die.
These mermaids communicate in strange vocalizations just like your usual whales, and hear through their more properly developed melon and tusk on their head. The tusk is also used for dominance displays, and unlike in narwhals, Cetaceous mermaids may skewer smaller prey on their tusk. Other forms of attack can include slapping prey with their large tail, a body slam, or a simple bite. They are immune to mermaid poison, but not to mermaid venom, so they avoid Tiger Mermaids altogether, and tread carefully with Deep Sea Mermaids. Interestingly, these mermaids may decorate their hair with glowing plankton, and have a unique relationship with ones that produce oxygen. These mermaids will breathe plankton in and pass them through their gills, harvesting the oxygen they produce while keeping the plankton relatively unharmed. This adaptation keeps them from needing to visit the surface as often for air.

“Say ‘Freeze!’ You’re under arrest!” Have the 7th superstition, Caperturer! She’s based on the old superstition that having your photo taken would steal your soul. Since this was more prominent when cameras were new, I gave her an old timey palette; looks nice to me! #art #artsky #oc #ocsky

Caperturers utilize the power of their superstition to neutralize threats and prey on victims. Her daguerreotype camera will capture whoever is within the full frame of its aperture, instantly developing their photograph, which the Abomination will then lock up in one of its 4 frames that cycle behind it. These frames can be unlocked at will, but if shattered with her scythe-shaped glass breaker(on the keyring you see), the subject of the photo will die, with no body to salvage. When captured, any of the subject's energy lost will become the Caperturer's energy gained. Otherwise, they can consume photographic chemicals as sustenance, notably mercury, lye, and silver gelatin... Though these are very difficult to find in nature. As such, they try their best at fishing for fish that are high in mercury. They are bad at it.
Some Caperturers strategize by capturing one another; the flash their camera uses is atomic, and this Abomination only receives a sliver of harm upon contact with Nucleos. The Captured Caperturer will give a signal on when to be released, and then you'll suddenly have two of them to worry about! AND the one that was captured can unleash whatever Abominations THEY had in their frames! These usually are Abominations that partly resist Nucleos; Caperturers cannot capture anything that is immune to nuclear attacks. They also cannot capture Bod Bacti, because the flash is hard-repelled by their bodies, which can actually lead to a Caperturer taking a self portrait, thus capturing itself.
The subjects she's got here are a Splillim and an Unborn Ghost! Despite having a daguerreotype camera, her photos start off fairly colored, but become more desaturated as they lose energy. She doesn't take pictures of dead things since they do not give her energy... That was a thing in Victorian England! Pretty spooky stuff.

By the way, the photos in the background aperture were taken by me! I took them while I was on a hike!

4th of the Metal Series AND my entry for this month's #VGenChallenge, An Apiheirezz! She's based off of a behavior of Japanese honeybees, which cook and suffocate hornets to death in hot bee balls, and mad honey, which is a real, psychoactive honey! #VGen #art #artsky #artist #oc #ocsky #bee #bees

Apiheirezz’ can be a harmful Abomination, but for the most part are actually quite helpful to their environments! They frequent Aikhralia and Qiwaki the most, but you can find them just about anywhere except for Igi. Being essentially a mobile hive, the Apiheirezz is an excellent pollinator, and provides better defense for her swarms than any beehive possibly could. When threatened, an Apiheirezz will command her swarms to shimmer their wings in spiraling patterns as a warning(what you’re seeing on the bottom of her throne), as well as ignite any other swarms into flaming bee balls. When attacking, she will toss these incendiary bees at the assailant, which will then be engulfed by vibrating bees, depriving the attacker of oxygen and heating them up to ignition. The bees can withstand blazing temperatures up to 2,800 degrees Fahrenheit(≈ 1,537 C). Like the bee ball tactic these Abominations originally take from, this temperature is MUCH higher than what most predators can handle. Swarms may also sting, but that is far less common. A sting from these bees will cause a stronger burning sensation than normal. She can calm these bees down by flapping her wings to fan smoke towards them, which is conveniently burned on her throne with pine needles that never seem to completely burn out.
As for how the Apiheirezz herself attacks, she actually intoxicates threats with her mead, which is made from her potent mad honey, a psychoactive variety of regular honey. That’s a real thing by the way! The vapors from her mead are enough to induce a drunken stupor into her enemies, thus allowing them to be taken down more easily.
When not attacking, the Apiheirezz tends to her bees as one would expect. The queens of her colonies are considered “princesses,” since *She* is considered queen. Many a creature have attempted to rob them of their honey and mead, but their defenses are quite tight… There's more lore, but alas, 2,000 characters STILL isn't enough! Check my Cara!!

Wuighebi and Cuighebi! Wuighebi is a tall, adult lipone(which is a species I created). He has a longer coat of blonde fur, with purplish-pink hair. His antenna resembles a dandelion with florets. If you read Buighebi's backstory, he's part of her pack! He isn't specifically mentioned in the story, but he acts as the father to all of the young lipones, teaching the pups where to look for food and how to get it. Fathering lipones will also sometimes play with pups, if the younglings aren't entertaining each other for some reason.
And getting piggybacked here is Cuighebi! She's a younger lipone, with a white coat that may eventually become more vibrant as she matures! Her hair is green with some blue areas, topped with a prickly pear flower for her antenna. She's still learning her crucial Qiwakin survival skills, so Wuighebi is here after helping her refine them from a successful lil fishing hunt! Both male and female lipones will learn the same set of skills, an adaptation in case one member of the family cannot perform their preferred duties. Lipones are incredibly intelligent, close to rivaling humans, so they make use of complex tools! Wicker is a popular material for lipones, since it sticks easily to the very fine hooks on their paws, as you can see with Cuighebi's paw clinging onto the wicker fish trap!

Another one-off Abomination! AND MY GOD THIS IDEA WAS ONE I STRUGGLED THE MOST WITH YEARS AGO BUT HERE SHE IS, a Bios! These freaks can "biologically" hack you and create mutations in your genes! And yes I didn't feel like fixing her to be inside of her dome of hair... #art #oc #artsky #ocsky

The abilities of a Bios are as unnerving as their appearance. The main power of this Abominations involve damaging or mutating the DNA of its victims, whilst altering the genes of its allies to provide them benefits in combat. The Abomination is thought to originate from a cross of humans and bacteriophages, which is fitting considering how they attack. They are even shaped similarly to one, with a roughly icosahedral head and six “legs” from their head of hair. It instead uses its legs to biologically “hack” enemies. These hacks can also be delivered through their long fingers, facilitated with long arms, and the pointed ends of their hair… so rule of thumb is if it’s pointy, don’t touch it! The feet and fingers have the strongest effects! Oh, and by the by, these Abominations are carcinogenic, so keep an eye on your health after encountering one!! For some reason, the split ends in their hair become helixes that shed bases, which don’t seem to do anything…
These Abominations may look undead, but are actually half alive, and half non-living, which would support the hypothesis that they are based on viruses. They do not bleed, instead oozing out a DNA in a stringy, viscous substance. Even their skin breaks oddly, bursting open in response to damage, like an overripe fruit’s epicarp. Since they are only half alive, they require little sustenance, though the food they eat must be high in genetic material when eaten. Strawberries are a favorite among them(this one has strawberry DNA in her hands, by the way)! And if you’re familiar with extracting DNA from things, they’re actually afraid of soapy salt water! It's a very specific strategy that takes prep work, but hitting a Bios with a mix of detergent and salt and water, then assaulting them, and finishing with a splash of rubbing alcohol can melt them into a slimy pile of DNA pretty quickly!... Good luck finding a convenient way to do that though.

The Map of Bearth! There are 6 countries to see, Igi, a snowy country of the far north, Aikhralia, a mountainous country neighboring south Igi, Sedde, a temperate, moist country bordering south Aikhralia. To the southwest from Sedde there is the tropical archipelago of Oe, and to the south of that is the southernmost country Ratumn, a dryer country with some snow in the far south. There's a hole in its ozone layer, I'm sure that's fine!! Between the northeast of Ratumn and Southeast of Sedde lies Qiwaki, a country that's mostly jungle, with a pink spot in the north, and a red spot up near the equator. See the other images for more detailed lore on each country!!

Igi, the homeland of Harmonie. Being of the far north, this country faces more snow than any of the 3 countries that experience it. It is the land of the element Glacios for this reason. Blizzards in normal conditions run through mid November to late February. Plant life is limited here, so many of its residents will subsist off of meat. A good deal of urbanization remains, with isolated abandoned cities.

Qiwaki, the homeland of Buighebi. Considered the most dangerous country of all, due to the sheer power of its element, Psychos. Is predominantly comprised of jungle and some dense forest biomes, with several cliffs giving the area a diversity in altitude as well. Notably has a red jungle and pink forest. Makes the home of the most diverse groups of species, including some of the more dangerous Abominations. If any humans do live here, no one hears of it.

Sedde, the homeland of Aia. The most urbanized country, with an entire city intact. Cool and temperate, facing the highest amount of fog of any country due to poking into the ocean where cold and warm waters collide. Also has many forests and swamps, with monsoons in the north, thanks to Aikhralia walling off lower rain clouds. It is the land of Chemos, the environment rich in complex natural compounds. Synthetic chemicals also dominate.

Oe, the homeland of Iolla. It is an archipelagic country, sitting in the equator and spanning the tropics. Being the country most concentrated with volcanoes, it is the land of Combustos. It is high in seismic activity, but large underwater rocks some distance off the shores prevent tsunamis from being of much threat to the islands. Has the warmest, most shallow waters. All communities are remote.

Aikhralia, the homeland of Junice. It is an almost entirely mountainous country, creating a natural wall between East Igi and Sedde. Though the elevation is high, there is limited amounts of snow present, due to how much sun the country gets. It is the land of the element Electros, facing stormy weather rather commonly. The green mountain in the Midwest is the Horn of Plenty, a keystone to providing life for its inhabitants. Most civilizations are remote, with some living entirely on their own.

Ratumn, the homeland of Miriam. Once a temperate country, the effects of its element, Nucleos have changed the environment to more of a savanna. Life persists though, with few snowy spots in the south. In the center of the Black Lagoon there is an extreme hole in the ozone layer, making it inhospitable to life on the island in the middle. Tar pits and geysers are also common, while urban ruins may be found, dominated by nature.

The banner to my WIP story, Rudimental! You can see planet Bearth(yes very creative I slapped a B in front of Earth, applaud me now). You can see the two moons that orbit Bearth as well, Raflayya on top, and Tassolon below. A few other planets and the sun are visible, but behind the text that reads as follows:
Plagued by miasmic beige skies, infested with ill-willed creatures, oppressed by both their powers, the inhabitants of planet Bearth(pronounced like “birth”) of the Cornucopia Galaxy face impending disaster. These sparkling beige skies are the result of abnormal waves of space weather, altering the land it runs over and bringing with it creatures known as Abominations. Many of these creatures harm the life of the land, and have humbled many a species’ population…including humans.
You follow the tale of Harmonie, a young woman of Igi, the northernmost country on Bearth. Concentrations of space weather lengthen the blizzard season and drive the curious Harmonie to investigate the source, leading her to a Hotspot; an area under great influence of space weather and Abominations. Upon discovering more Hotspots in other countries thereafter, her whimsical curiosity lights her path on a journey to snuff out these cosmic calamities. The storms of space call for her…
And no man can claim whether curiosity will cure the countries for certain, or craft her coffin and pull the curtain.

Itsmybunny’s sona BunnyBun holding my mascot OC, the Cockatricks! Of course we had to have the chicken and bunny do an Easter collab! They’re floating in an ocean of glittery dyed water, like what you’d use to paint Easter eggs. The Cockatricks, instead of nesting atop the Jack O Lantern, is resting in a wicker basket full of Easter eggs, with a rabbit face wrapped around it(I call it the Jackawrapit!) The feral form of Bunny’s sona can also be seen fishing for eggs in the water with a net! Wholesome stuff!

Horrid killers of abominations, Assassonistas are proudly gruesome murderers of anything they can best in combat. These abominations are a cross between an assassin bug and specifically a fashionable human... They take the murderous tendencies of the assassin bug and combine it with the lust for fashion of the human. The result is as you see it; a "femme 'fashionista' fatale," who wears every gut and body part they find attractive. Skulls, eyes, ribs, tails, shells, sometimes even just the corpse of their prey, they will proudly sport it on their body. And not often does an Assassonista have to wipe sweat off its brow when it comes to killing; their saliva can liquefy the insides of their prey(which is how they feed), and combined with skin armed with spikes, once they have a grip on you, your chance at escape becomes all the more elusive.
While normal assassin bug nymphs wear ants to confuse predators, Assassonistas wear cadaver as a dominance display, and as an aid in sexual selection. Indeed, the fate of their species is reliant on how much kills they wear, while presenting it in the most fashionable way possible. This leads to them killing not just for food, but for fashion, which is highly disruptive to the ecosystems they live in, in parts of Sedde and a bit more commonly in Qiwaki. So, if you're worth your salt at exterminating, the Earth will thank you for ridding it of this pest.
Strategies for hunting these can be interesting; Assassonistas are partial to killing things they find attractive and/or novel, so wearing uninteresting clothes or even simply being an ugly person can keep them uninterested in you, giving you a chance to strike! And if you fancy yourself as the Belle of the Ball, you can try wearing an ugly mask, you vain prick! They aren't very wary of humans since they see them as potential prey, so take advantage of their confidence. But if you don't have what it takes, just don't go out at night time! These abominations are nocturnal!
