IMO, it was a weird choice to have a whole ep set in high school when that could've been used as a flashback. Would make the pacing work better. Also then I wouldn't have a billion questions about Ayla becoming an Idol. Or why nobody was concerned about the 30-year-old student beating kids in kendo.

milklove was the second gl couple i discovered, and I've been following them since that extended tea (?) commercial they did, but i just don't like school-age series so 23.5 didn't do it for me. but whale store is greaaaaaaaaat. i love it ever so. slice of life stories are my jam.

At this point I can't tell if some of these couples are bad at kissing, uncomfortable kissing the same gender, or told to kiss like that by studios or whatever. I know there are cultural differences, but it's like watching a US drama from 1962.

Denied Love was cute. Not the best GL, but I've noped out of a few and this one kept me interested. Highly problematic plot, and a lot of weird directorial choices, but I enjoyed it and those two have decent chemistry.

Yeah. I honestly expected it to be something like that if they ever came to the US, especially now. It's really expensive to do events. Like, I think some of the folks (not you!) saying Peru is cheaper maybe don't realize that Peru has a stronger economy than Mexico, and that affects stuff.
