This actually isn't much worse than it was 2 years ago, when the CPC was leading in the polls and was on track for a historic majority! The biggest difference is that back then, all 3 leaders were unpopular whereas Carney is fairly well-liked.

The barricades are on a wide, major street, and have diverted busy traffic onto narrow residential lanes, making them less safe for the senior citizens who live there. As a Vancouver voter, I hope that my city's candidates for council takes these residents' concerns seriously.

My reflex is to defend international food over domestic food, but then I clicked, and LOL *come on*. Tables at Brentwood OTOH has an international food court with high-quality ethnic food at reasonable prices.

Feenie's basic cheeseburger is $13.99. Meal costs can get pricy, though, with Feenie's premium Le Croc Burger selling for $27.99. Diners are encouraged to add foie gras for $19.99, and a port wine jus with mushrooms for $13.99. That would push that burger price to nearly $62 before tax.

I can't with this. Bundism was non-Zionism, not antizionism. It was "let's focus on strengthening Jewish communities in the diaspora, where 99% of us live, instead of in the Holy Land." It wasn't "f*ck Israel and by extension the 50% of Jews who live there", which AFAICT is what 2026-era Bundism is.
