During world design, we made a conscious effort to set horses apart from the rest of the livestock. Their elevated status is also reflected in the severe punishment for horse theft. Even Henry himself isn't exempt when it comes from grand theft... horse.

For a young knight like Henry, a horse is far more than just a means of transportation or a companion on countless adventures.

Despite his best efforts, Henry simply cannot do everything on his own. Therefore, he must earn his living by working for farmers or at feasts for the nobles he serves. However, a generous host is not always around to take care of him. Fortunately, Henry can stop by an inn, where they will provide food and drink, lodging for the night, and useful information, as well as new acquaintances — connections that could prove just as important as the roof over his head as they may open up unexpected opportunities.

Medieval inns could be found on nearly every corner. At the time, it was common to drink beer rather than water, mainly due to the poor quality of water, so inns became frequent refuges for townspeople and travelers alike.
