I am entirely obsessed with this image on every level. The reds and composition make it feel like an 80s sci-fi/fantasy romance novel with the hand painted character in some sort of embrace or fight in the most intense pose you can think of while still looking the most engaging and badass

A reminder for the next few days when each of these may be harder than normal to remember

Three rows of double panels depicting a raccoon, drawn by RedGoldSparks:
- when you feel like everyone hates you // sleep
- when you feel like you hate everyone // eat
- when you feel like you hate yourself // shower

I think everyone should see this incredible picture of Dolly Parton: it’s by Stacie Williams (asterosperma on Instagram) and it’s called The Queen of Appalachia

A stunning screenprint image in a style which is part folk art, part religious icon. Dolly Parton sits on a throne-like wooden chair, surrounded by garlands of flowers and leaves. Orange butterflies (I think they are monarchs?) hover around her head. Her hair is huge and golden, and she is wearing a long, sweeping orange gown, which is turned up over her knee to show off her brown knee length high heeled boots. Two black bear cubs play around her, one on the floor and one in her lap. Dolly stares calmly at the viewer. Her right hand is raised in benediction, and in her left she holds a ripe strawberry which she is feeding to one of the bear cubs.

Although I am paying a human artist to make my poster I was told to advertise more in the meantime. behold, my passion is non-genAI images~ I am relearning to love art and trying out different styles while I recover from health chaos this year. pls check out my shop @ ko-fi.com/jiakimchi/ti...

a poster showing animal stickers from jia's art club. there are sea animals like starfish, whaleshark, jellyfish, seahorse, octopus, sea bunnies, and narwhal. There are also penguin, bunny, sheep, and bear stickers for August subscribers. a chibi of jia is pointing to the stickers and the text says: please check out my ko-fi monthly art club tiers. NO genAI used ever <3

He actually kidnapped Jack-Jack himself, if y’all remember the Babysitter & Jack-Jack short. He didn’t send a lackey to do it. He wanted revenge on Mr. Incredible, he wasn’t taking any chances.

modesthermit.bsky.social @modesthermit.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Syndrome takes DIRECT action in pursuit of his goals. I doubt he’d use something so functionally useless, indirect and redundant as generative ai.

110

modesthermit.bsky.social @modesthermit.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Devils advocate take: Syndrome wanted to empower the common people who weren’t supers via any means necessary. He’s evil for hoarding wealth and creating destructive robots/attempting to murder the Parr family and actually murdering other supers.
