Managed to beat Final Fantasy IV before starting FE Fortune's Weave! Really good game, I quite enjoyed my time with this one! I'm not huge on the ATB type system, but it's not the worst thing in the world. Very curious to get to V (in like a few months).

Fortune's Weave looks amazing!!! It's got some heavy time travel implements in the story, which I'm always all for, and the new classes look super interesting! 100% cannot wait for September

ModernHog @modernhog.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Fortune's Weave direct!!!! And I get to watch it at work !!!!!!!!

ModernHog @modernhog.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

I beat Final Fantasy III! Really quite an enjoyable game! Definitely my favourite out of the three so far, though they really didn't have to regress so far back to the first game in terms of story and gameplay mechanics. Very very curious about IV though.

Something I've neglected to mention until now - I've been playing the classic Final Fantasy games for the first time! I recently beat 1 and 2, with the Pixel Remaster versions. I actually really quite enjoyed them! They're fun, quaint little games. Curious to see where 3 will rank for me.

Thinking on it, I feel confident in the new Fable being good. It really seems like the devs are passionate about it and they know what they're doing. They've thought things through and are taking their time. Just hoping they can stick the landing.

So I just finished playing Castlevania II: Simon's Quest. That really wasn't so bad at all! I actually kinda enjoyed it, definitely a heck of a lot more than the first game. Is a little bit too easy sometimes, especially that final boss. What the flip happened there
