I didn't ask for this to be escalated, so I'll put a stop to it. I blocked them and I'm not putting up with their bs any longer. This all started with a debate about physical media. I criticized them by saying their line of thinking was similar to ideas that leads to tech enshittification.

We have got to call shit like this out more, it would've saved my ass and made me so much less annoying.

As the saying goes, "vote with your wallets." If you have to make the sacrifice of missing out on your favourite game, it might do you some good. You'll actually find an excuse to try out different games.

I'll see people spamming PlayStation games with like "Physical please" type shit, but like most Online Movements they kinda lose their bite when you direct this toward games you can buy on disc.

Almost like you're just posting for the sake of posting!

One of the best changes from the previous #Xenoblade games to Xenoblade 2 is the jumping mechanics. There is a lot more platforming in this game, and a lot more to discover as a result. That also means sequence breaking is a lot easier, though it mostly allows for side content to be done earlier.

Merc Assault on #Xenoblade 2 NS2E has been very fun so far. Not only does it MASSIVELY cut down on the time to complete the list of Merc missions, but it's also even closer to being an MMORPG than the base game.

I don't know how many people have decided to buy SMB Wonder NS2E, but there is one particular level that I do daily to earn some Bellabel Water to try 100%ing the expansion. Starting today, I am able to complete this level under 30 seconds. I wonder what the world record is. #NintendoSwitch2

I played #Fortnite Save The World for the first time yesterday, as did so many people. Boy, am I pissed. This is the real Fortnite that was kept away from many players behind a damn paywall. This was the mode that would have taught players how to properly play with Fortnite's build mechanics.

That's not even the only issue I have observed. I have managed to overload the audio even if the frame rate and resolution remained somewhat okay. I have not encountered any game crashes or freezing yet, but I have observed the game slowing down from certain on-screen effects, like Sidon's water.

With the new addition of "Handheld Boost" mode on the Switch 2, which makes the Switch 2 in handheld run Switch 1 games in docked mode, I knew I needed to put Age of Calamity to the test once more. While the resolution seems to have improved, the frame rate issues still persist.

The new Scott's Stash video talks about perhaps one of the biggest problems with Nintendo communities. Some fans seem to have an extreme bias towards their favourite franchise, wanting to see it get announced in favour of Nintendo just having anything in general to announce.

@konanarillah.bsky.social There are many examples of film adaptations not strictly being a namesake of their source material. Just look at comic book film adaptations. Better yet, Sonic 2 (the movie), which adapted both 2nd and 3rd original games. (Also, why disable replies?)

It's kinda weird that they have Wart/Mamu appear in the Super Mario Galaxy movie despite the fact that he doesn't appear at all in neither of the Galaxy games and hasn't been relevant since Link's Awakening (Original and remakes)...
But at least he's getting attention! Lol

I am somewhat convinced now that Nintendo has secured some kind of exclusivity deal to manufacture microSD Express readers. When Valve, Asus, Lenovo, and other handheld PC companies aren't using it and bottlenecking the speeds to standard microSDXC, it kinda comes off as very weird for gaming.

I have found another one. Stevivor has recently promoted an article framing Nintendo and Capcom's relationship for Resident Evil as "drama" but the article itself is just a very basic (and incomplete) recap of RE history on Nintendo platforms. I grow tired of these outlets.

It's also interesting that compared to Super Mario and Metroid where there are two different producers between 2D and 3D games, The Legend of Zelda has one Series Producer for all games, aka Mr. Aonuma.

i think its fascinating how compared to mario 64 in relation to 2d mario games, ocarina of time is actually rather faithful translation and iteration upon link to the past into 3d in most respects.

If Circle was a vibrant green, and Cross was red, following the logic of traffic lights and road signs, I guarantee you people would not have gotten them confused. In North America, green circle means permitted, usually when it comes to parking or turns.

Bowser's Fury, 100%ed again. I was expecting the Switch 2's improved performance to make this game feel different, as I only played it in handheld on the Switch 1. 30fps felt very weird for a 3D Mario game. But it didn't do much. It just made it look even more like 3D World with the 60fps.

This journey to 100% 3D Mario games started after completing Age of Imprisonment's map 100%, and playing Metroid Prime 4 twice over with 100% both times. I have managed to accomplish more in these past months than I had in the last 2 decades of my life of playing these games.

In a little over half a month, I already went through most of 3D World (missing character stamps and Champion's Road) and now I'm in the post-game for Odyssey. I guess I just had the urge to keep playing because 3D World was brand new to me, and I have nostalgia for Odyssey.

The more I use the Joy-Con 2s, the less reason I see in buying a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the feeling of the Switch 2 Pro Controller. I tried it before at some demo kiosks and it's super comfortable and smooth. Here are my reasons why (a thread):

Metroid Fusion is just #Alien Resurrection if it wasn't a comedy film. An absolute classic, and a revolutionary Metroid title that solidified the gameplay mechanics of the rest of the Metroid series. Samus talks a lot in this one, but I'm not complaining. It's a lot of good internal monologue.

I have fully 100%ed Super Mario 3D All-Stars. It took me roughly 17 days to complete, which feels ridiculously short for three whole games, one of which is played twice. I didn't think I would beat these three back to back within less than a full month.

Seems like the Bluesky ratings on Google Play are improving steadily. I think this further reinforces my belief that the app was intentionally review bombed. People chose to rate this with 1 star, then write a review highlighting minor issues as if it was justification.

The review bombings of Bluesky on Google Play seem to be slowing down. It was previously at an average of 1.9 stars. Some of the 1 star criticisms are genuine, but seriously? People need to lighten up and acknowledge some of the food sides of the platform. Those issues are not 1-star worthy.

Now, I'm onto Galaxy 1. I've actually already 100%ed this game before on the Wii, beating the game as both Mario and Luigi. However, for the sake of nostalgia, and to prepare for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, I figured I should revisit this game. I don't mind missing out on the Galaxy 1+2 content.

In just 3 days, I 100%ed Sunshine. It was also the first time in my life that I've beaten Sunshine, believe it or not. I beat the infamous lily pad level flawlessly, never letting Yoshi drown or falling into the insta-death water. I also beat the final boss flawlessly, not that it was difficult.

One of the gifts I've received for Christmas (a month early) was Super Mario 3D All-Stars. I initially did not buy this game because I have all three original versions of these games. However, I had the sudden urge to sit through each of these games and 100% them all. In just 2 days, I did SM64.

#Samsung Gaming Hub is becoming progressively worse as time goes on. The starting page no longer displays all of your games. Instead, you have to painstakingly tap on the top right or scroll down through numerous ads until you've found games that aren't listed at the top, alongside advertisements.
