I’ve spent most of my life living near the ocean, but there’s something so magical about the desert that I have come to appreciate. It emits a feeling of survival in the harshest of conditions. Strength, resilience and endurance are the lessons that have resonated with me. Nature is our teacher.

"Surrender" When we let go and surrender, we stop resisting the flow of life and find what was meant for us. I painted this as part of my own journey of self-discovery in learning this lesson. Letting go of things that no longer serve you opens space for the wonderful things that await.

A little feel good story❤️ I met a lovely woman while standing in a checkout line and we were chatting. She wanted to gift me some of her handmade jewelry, because that’s what she does. I chose a daisy necklace and she gave me a crystal pendant necklace made from an antique chandelier. Made my day!

Three week countdown until I will be sitting here in my favorite spot. My Mom’s ashes were scattered in the ocean straight out from the gazebo. I spent many hours here healing and now it’s a special place where I can remember my wonderful Mom❤️
