The AI bubble popping isn't going to make AI disappear. As the smaller unprofitable companies get wiped out or bought up, the overall load will drop. But the remaining companies that are using AI intelligently will eventually grow to fill that void. Same as the dotcom bubble. That's my prediction.

Thing is, I'm finding great success at home in using AI as a learning accelerator by treating it as a Google replacement. It is powerful in that regard, I'm not black and white for this. I do think there are valid use cases. But it's able to regurgitate things far too easily so people are just -

Around it. So the sad reality is AI in these large companies are basically just duplicating templates already. Everyone thinks they're so powerful simply because they couldn't fathom a better design to begin with.

It's sad that at a large company, all of the "engineering" in software has been stripped down to templates anyways. It's all basic data in data out and any creative thoughts to improve a system to do it better is shut down by the team because it's too complicated for them to wrap their heads (cont)
