He knew I needed those points for fantasy?

Michael @mobmentality.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

This is a solid point. Like, they have Alan Cumming as a pull to be able to get more ‘legit’ celebrities on the show. Have him make some calls and get the rest of the X-Men in there. Are you telling game that Halle Berry & James Mardsen don’t want to hang out in a castle for 2 weeks?

010

Michael @mobmentality.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

So, in the heat of the moment I’m fine w production giving the fresh parchment to avoid that possibility. But it seems like now that we’ve all seen this happen it won’t become some new, emergent strategy for future players.

010

Michael @mobmentality.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Right. Likely the Ana voters would figure it out & Rob would be discovered. Especially w his side conversation & Eric telling the truth about his convos w Rob. But the possibility exists that 1 of the Ana voters gets paranoid & believes that Rob was w them & 1 of their 6 was not.

This was fantastic! But I’ll say that it was good that Rob got a new parchment. It would’ve been too unfair to someone else. No one would reasonably believe that Rob had initially voted for himself so suspicion would unfairly carry through the game on someone else bc Rob was a moron there.

I mean, that’s kinda what you get when you try to pull a Danni Boatwright and refuse to tell production about any of your plans. How easy would it have been for production to say, “Yeah, you can’t vote for yourself.” as a rule clarification during that confessional. #Survivor

I’ll never forget how the over-blurred Amanda’s butt in China. Seemed a little unnecessary. Almost as if they were doing that thing on other RTV shows where they’d censor words that didn’t need it to make it sound more like edgy.

It took me too long to realize he was the UK host. At least 4 episodes went by and I kept going, “He seems familiar…” but I was likely too distracted by Kumail being there.

39, 42, and 7. Based in what you have and haven’t seen (and what I think is the best) that would be my recommendation. Watchmen is only 1 season but it is glorious.

First person on shore from the marooning that gets the trinket (Medallion of Power? 😂) picks. Battle back option that ends at the merge? First Tribal IC winners pick. Losing tribe doesn't know until after they vote someone out. F2 or F3? Secret majority vote at the merge You can do so much!

Michael @mobmentality.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I've wanted something like this for a few years now. I'd call it the "Choose Your Fate" Era. Throughout the season prod gives contestants different choices that impact/establish the game. So, prod keeps most control by the when/how/what of the options. Starting with 2-3-4 tribes? #Survivor

Okay, I can take this as a bit of relief. I’ve been dying to get my 2 kids (9 and 7) to their first game at Lambeau for a little bit. Really wanted to do it in a season they had a shot to do it all. Whew, at least I can wait another year to save up some more. #Packers
