For new arrivals: Make sure you visit "My Feeds" and hit the little gear cog up next to your search bar. Bluesky lets you do a lot of cool stuff with feeds, and that's your key to begin learning about it!

So we tried Mastodon (scaling/moderation issues). We tried Hive (no web version, bad discovery). What are the things lacking from BlueSky? No gifs/videos is a big one. Usernames are kinda weirdly formatted.

Kick has added the content filters they announced a couple of days ago. You can now hide all Slots & Casino Content, as well as Pools, Hot Tubs & Bikini streams.

25 years ago, I ran a daily newsletter with thousands of subscribers. Using Juno email service which didn't even support newsletters or mass messaging, so I had to send it in multiple batches with mailing lists. Why did I stop? Are we back to where we started?
