Your annual reminder that cats are sneaky lil buggers. We had this tree up for less than an hour before she claimed it as hers. #CatsOfBluesky #Cats

At this point, I’m fully convinced Balenciaga is just trolling us… and honestly, I respect the commitment. Better snap these up while they’re on sale! 😂

Apparently I will no longer be able to access chats because I refuse to supply the last 4 of my ssn, a credit card number, or a pic of my driver’s license, so if you have tried messaging me I will not be replying.🙄

I’m just saying, the Maine Office of Tourism missed a golden opportunity in the 70s not running ads that read “I’ve been to ‘paradise’, but I’ve never been to ME.” 🤷‍♀️

I heard someone say that overthinking is simply rehearsing fear, and it stopped me in my tracks. How many times have I played the worst-case scenario on repeat instead of releasing it? Here’s to choosing peace over practice from here on out.

Tell me I’m not the only one who thought Beau Bridges was behind the wheel of that bus in Tron: Ares.

The acoustics inside the Baptistery of San Giovanni in Pisa were other-worldly. We were fortunate enough to be there when an employee closed all the doors and sung a few notes to demonstrate. Imagine how an entire choir would sound in here??

I learned something new this morning after taking a cool shower and assuming it was because other people at our B&B had already used up the hot water. #TheMoreYouKnow

Any day I get to be near flowers is a beautiful day! We went to a flower festival where we shopped from local vendors, drank iced coffees, and you guessed it, bought flowers! ❤️

Dear perimenopausal and menopausal friends. If you haven’t considered HRT, I strongly encourage you to try it. After three weeks on HRT (hormone replacement therapy), I have experienced:

I was halfway through this sandwich before I thought to take a pic. Homegrown beefsteak tomato on toasted croissant bread with butter, mayo, salt, and pepper. Simple perfection.

Unpopular opinion: White Lotus is a lot like those seven minute long fb videos that suck you in and keep promising a payoff which never happens until the last five seconds. I watched the first season and gave up halfway through the second.

Note to self: Do NOT trust the “range” number your car gives you when you’re running low on gas. Lesson learned, and thank God for AAA.

Another fun fact that no one tells you about going through menopause: You apparently become INSANELY attractive to mosquitoes. I think it has something to do with rising body temperature. Stock up on lavender oil and/or bug spray, ladies. You’re gonna need it. #Menopause #Perimenopause #GenX

Got rid of the green walls and gross mauve-tan trim, and I’m so happy with the results. Here are a couple before and afters, and a few more afters. I now have one room in the new house that feels clean and comfortable.
