I spent the week of my new found freedom doing mostly nothing but getting caught up on tv shows and movies. I cannot wait to volunteer next week and spend time outside in nature frolicking and dilly dallying.

I’m grateful to be a neighborly person. My neighbors 4 year old kid just ran into my house in hysterics and I’m so glad he even felt I was a safe and trustworthy adult to run to in time of distress. Now I’m on the verge of tears.

I’m taking my time with “The God of Small Things” by Arundhati Roy because I’m loving the prose. Miss Ma’am has a command of literature in a way that has captured my heart and I don’t really want to finish the book.

God, I love unreliable narrators. The twist was predictable, but I loved the circular plot where we go back to the beginning of the silence. Great writing.
