This vintage style poster was created using AI. I have many conflicting feelings about AI, but...I love this graphic! It was created using a photo from my last appearance as 'Adolpho Pirelli' in a production of SWEENEY TODD.

I guess it’s OK to announce, now that the cast list has been posted…I have been cast in the role of ‘Brian’ in the 1977 Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning play THE SHADOW BOX by Michael Cristofer at cwACT. I am very excited. And, of course, nervous. But, excited.

And just like that...AS YOU LIKE IT is over. What an absolutely delightful and fun company this was; so welcoming, encouraging, and embracing. Oh! How I am going to miss them all! 💔 Goodbye 'Jaques'; it was good getting to know you.

"I love the live performance of the theatre, of building a character and taking [it] from the beginning to the end of the play. Theatre is so full and rich. I feel so high when I come off stage, and you get that immediate response [from the audience]." - Lainie Kazan

A couple of weeks ago as reps of cwACT, I participated in Mother's and Others Afternoon Tea Party at the Children's Museum in Stevens Point. I, Kaz and Wren played Faerie Godparents to the visiting children; we read stories, played games and did arts and crafts. It was fun!

About two years ago I participated in a cast reunion of the 1980 Disney film MIDNIGHT MADNESS. It was fun getting together with the cast again. It was so nice to see everyone again. 😍

I imagine every boy thinks his mother is beautiful. This is my mother with Tony Curtis. I thought she looked like a beautiful combination of Cyd Charisse and Barbara Stanwyck. Her birthday was in the last week of February. She would have been in her 90s. I miss her.

Every time we visit an amusement attraction, I like to have our caricatures drawn. This is the latest, done at Walt Disney World at the Contemporary Resort the first week of December 2025. I like it. Of course, it’s terribly flattering, making us both look very handsome and years younger.

Last night, we opened the murder mystery COUNTRY CLUB CAPERS. As my character lay dead, another character dropped an item from her purse on my face and split my lip. I didn't realize it until I put my hand to my lip and pulled it away covered in blood! Ahh... there's nothing like live theatre?

With Tim Curry's autobiographical book VAGABOND - a memoir being released today, I wanted to post the photo of the time he came to see PINAFORE! in WeHo. He was charming and delightful and very complementary. Wishing him the best as he struggles with his health after his debilitating stroke.

“You measure each opportunity that comes your way and think if it’s worth your while. As we get older I think you look at it with a bit more scrutiny, like, ‘Do I want to commit to that much time?’ If I’m going to do something, I want to make sure there’s the promise of it being good.” - Paul Reiser

These beautiful wall murals are in historic downtown Stevens Point. There are many murals there, mostly of Stevens Point history, and while they are interesting, they are not as lovely as these two.

This ‘R’ was attached to my wheelchair in the play DON QUIXOTE DE LA CENTER to denote it as ‘Rocinante’ my faithful steed. In Spanish, ‘Rocinante’ translates to ‘old broken-down nag’. I thought the ‘R’ was a nice touch, and a company member gave it to me as a closing souvenir. It is a treasure.

cwACT’s production of DON QUIXOTE DE LA CENTER closed with a fairly well attended matinee. The cast, the crew all became very dear to me during the process, which usually happens. And now I have an empty space in my heart. Goodbye, ‘Don’ and my ‘de la Center’ family…I miss you already. God speed.
