We live in hope, and lament the current regime in the White House who thrive on disinformation.

I was at an event last night and a spokesperson for Republicans Abroad stated they don’t bother with expats other than military. For some reason, those of us who aren’t military tend toward D. Quite right, and it’s obvious the MAGA bunch would like to disenfranchise us.

That would be a really weird end to this tempest. It would also put paid to the smug claim by the current occupant of the White House.

Extraordinary, really. An evacuation, bomb robot, dead of night wearing balaclavas. More transparency from the authorities would be very useful right now. After all, the current occupant of the White House tells a much different story but we know his narrative is useless.

This always shocks me here in the U.K. I do not understand the rationale and think it’s bonkers. Those men, all British nationals, know where they can find safe haven and probably an escape route. It’s bonkers.

A Trump Hotel? Is that what he means by opening it up to “our” people? Another stinking grift courtesy of the American taxpayers.

Yes, as do I. There’s a rot in western society. The perpetrators are manipulating public sentiment into hating on their friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, and most of all on anyone whose melatonin levels are higher than theirs.

The unrest and instability that’s been unleashed by Trump and Netanyahu is boiling over. I remember when Trump claimed the Houthi fighters were tired of fighting. Another fiction from a lunatic. Wonder where oil prices will be headed now. That might be the least of our worries in fractious times.

My 63 year old husband had a very high PSA. MRI and biopsy revealed prostate cancer. 18 months later after surgery and radiotherapy he’s showing clear. Testing saved his life. Get your test, men.

Contrary to the current occupant of the White House, Canada is simply asserting sovereignty over their own country. How dare the mango menace dictate Canadian trade, culture and language. Truly vile, and cheers to the very astute Carney for defending Canada.

Although Kushner isn’t a bona fide government official, it’s a fact that he’s integral to this abominable administration. As such it’s understandable to me that Jeffries would take the meeting. I’m keen to learn more details of the convo but for now will hold fire on judgement.

Republicans held the White House eight years longer. Democrats still added about 2.4 times as many jobs.
Blinder and Watson found a large, statistically significant growth gap between Democratic and Republican presidencies in their historical sample, though much of it traced to factors not clearly under presidential control. Sources: BLS, BEA and Federal Reserve, via FRED. Corporate profits are BEA after-tax profits without IVA and CCAdj. Recessions follow the NBER chronology. Stock returns are S&P 500 with dividends reinvested, NYU Stern historical returns. Democrats held the White House 384 months, Republicans 480. Terms run January to January. Growth rates are annualised.
