The 2020-2022 Tigray, Ethiopia Civil War was the deadliest armed conflict of the 21st century. This catastrophic war, one of the bloodiest since the Cold War, claimed over 400K soldiers' lives & up to 300K civilian deaths, while systematically decimating the region's educational infrastructure.
